Tarantula Sunrise sounds like a drink or sex act.

Znuh: Tarantula Sunrise sounds like a drink or sex act.

Both very good suggestions. Personally, I'd vote for the drink. Not sure what the mix would be.  As a sex act, IMHO, It sounds a little too scary, but then I'm way past my BB date.

Once, driving at night through NM, I drove over/through a herd of migrating spiders. The next morning my truck looked as though I hadn't missed a single one.

Another time, in Western TX en route San Angelo, again at night, I plowed throught a herd of rabbits (jackrabbits?). Next morning I found more bunny ears & tails on my truck than Hugh Hefner!

Finally, in NB, I think I hit two ducks farking, if the do it in flight. I have no idea. I saw one spin over my windshield and thought that was it. It was close to sunset, which Is when I usually end driving for the day. When I reached my motel, I backed in to make unloading easier. The next morning as I was loading up again, a little girl started crying & pointing at the front of my truck. Her mother said I should look at the front of the truck: the head of a duck was wedged under the hood with the body drooping and just hanging. The little girl thought I'd killed Daffy!
