I'm so glad I never became a chemist. All those brains and education and you're doomed to working for the most reprehensible idiots and an utterly deranged public.

I'm sorry you guys, keep fighting the good fight ✊🏼

"Management also appeared to sabotage the review process by barring staff from talking with other agency experts about a new chemical, which scientists say is critical to developing a complete risk assessment. Whistleblowers said management punished employees who didn't complete the assessments within 90 days, which scientists say is too short a timeframe.
"Managers seem to think their job is to get as many new chemicals on the market as fast as possible," Bennett said"

The system is incapable of self reform.

I am highly confident that if you are drinking Red Bull or White Claw that was manufactured in Arizona, it is contaminated with PFOA and PFAS- owing to its proximity to Luke Air Force Base who has acknowledged the groundwater was contaminated.

Knowingly falsify results? Terminate for cause.

Politics have no place in science. Self-serving assholes may disagree, but they're just being self-serving assholes.

I generally don't beat up on Trump because 1) there isn't much point in doing it here and 2) using a 7 iron to do it is the only thing that would give much satisfaction.

Over the past five years, the EPA has not rejected any new chemicals submitted by industry despite agency scientists flagging dozens of compounds for high toxicity.

Hmmmmmmmm.  What happened to the government in charge of EPA policy five years ago?  Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
