I mean, if she wants to overlook how she supports January 6th treason against the US, and the botched Coronavirus response causing the deaths of 600,000 people I guess we can talk about something else Republicans do that destroys the country and keeps it divided.  What's the topic?  It isn't racist, right?

It doesn't sound made up because she used a 9.
Any one of her cultists can go to their local community college or state university to verify this lie.  I am willing to bet that the majority of colleges in ME, VT, WY, WV, NH, and other states with low minority populations are whiter than a Trump rally.
Most of her cultists are unaware that the USA has already largely de-funded higher ed at the federal and state level (New York and some places are exceptions).  Here in MA the state went from 75% subsidy to 25% from the 1970s to the 1980s.  The USA has so many colleges (around 5000 if memory serves) if your kid doesn't get accepted somewhere it's because a) they barely graduated high school and college would be a waste of everyone's time, and you are poor, b) you only applied to Harvard and nowhere else, and are not legacy.  Harvard bribery now starts north of $200 million to demand your kid gets in.  Or c) You are a lying white supremacists trying to invite violence in the poorly educated and uncritical, heavily armed masses who fear "replacement" of the white race with lazy black people.  She can DIAF.

But normal rich white people are having trouble trying buy admission to one of the "good" schools for their mediocre sons. You have to be "build a new library" rich for that shiat now. And since all the "good" companies and law firms actually hire some very quailfied women and non whites rather than just interview them and then hire the less qualified white male 100% of the time. Now  they just do that like 80-90% of the time.  Being a white male, I can safley tell you we still get hired more than anyone else and still get paid more. These people are gonna shiat their dicks when that changes and "those people" are hired more and paid equally.

I went to UMass Amherst back in the early 1990s.  It was $10,000 per year total with room and board.  Now it's about $35,000.  Tuition inflation comes in bursts, it's not steady.  It's still cheaper than Northeastern, which is dangerously close to $100,000 per year.  Yikes.

I thought the tuition rates were climbing steadily for at least 40 years, making it harder for anyone to afford it.

In 1989, the most expensive school I could find in my reference books was $12,000 a semester, not counting room and board, or books.  I went to UMR for just over $1000 a semester, but I flunked out quickly.

If excelling in academics was all that mattered there wouldn't be a need for quotas considering that racial discrimination is already illegal. This isn't about academics though it is a giant social engineering experiment.

No, they only went to jail because they didn't do it openly.

All of those schools will still happily admit someone's kid in exchange for that million dollar donation regardless of how bad their test scores are (passing grades and a diploma no longer guaranteed though). And it's tax-deductible! Totally legal buying of admission.

What happened in this case was some grifter that convinced a bunch of celebrities that that wouldn't work, and so instead they should give all that money to him, and he'd make it happen. He then proceeded to pay people to take the standardized tests for the kids (when, again, said tests would be meaningless with a big donation), paid small ($10K) bribes to coaches of various smaller sports to have them request admission of these students (as "critical" non-scholarship players), and pocketed the majority of the cash. It's the bribes and the faked tests that got them busted. Had they just taken their million dollars and given it directly to the school, the kids would have been admitted just the same, no one would have had to pretend to be interested in a sport they didn't care about, and they'd have avoided jail.

The problem isn't colleges. They're not failing America. It's our public and private schools that are doing a dismal job of educating America. Take a look around at the number of trailer dwelling, near illiterate, white trash deplorables that inhabit this country. The country is going to hell because our society is basically undereducated. Undereducated societies are ultra-conservative, poverty ridden, crime infested, fearful and driven by religious fervour. It's the same around the world. Conservative societies can't help themselves because they lack the mental prowess to do so. Alabama or Afghanistan it's all the same.

I don't think the institutions alone should carry the blame.

Parents and the students themselves are a much larger part of the problem than the teachers and administrators.

No. Women belong in a home and caring for the next generation of exceptional white children. Except her. She's different. She's special. She is a barren wasteland where no seed shall grow, so she has taken it upon herself to adopt, so that those children might find their place in this world gone mad. Both my daughters went to UMASS Amherst in the 00s. The first one cost about 12k for freshman and maybe 15-16k at the end. My second daughter went five years later, after Gov Mitt Romney said that State school should charge more like private colleges do, so she had to pay close to 35k to start and about 39 at finish. Mitt Romney brought GOP trickle down to theUMASS campuses, which, in my view, revealed him as a Let them Eat Cake GOPer. He has since tempered his enthusiasm for GOP politics as it turned out to be the Party of Fascists,Death Cultists and PlagueRats
