I'm sure Matt is disappointed her two children are teenaged boys, not teenaged girls.

"No part of the allegations against me are true," Gaetz said in a statement at the time. He added: "I have a suspicion that someone is trying to recategorize my generosity to ex-girlfriends as something more untoward."

Move along, nothing to see here. His girlfriend simply wanted money to buy puffy unicorn stickers for her schoolbooks and for when the ice cream van came around.

She opens up her Composition Book and it's nothing but pages and pages of, "Mrs Matthew Gaetz" written in pink, surrounded by flowers and unicorns.

I wouldn't be surprised if an FBI investigation of him and his cohorts unveils a rabbit hole of depravity that would make the most hardened agent nauseous.

It's pretty wild how Gaetz f**ked an underage girl and had been heavily implicated in sex trafficking and he hasn't been arrested yet.

Well it's making the most nauseous Joel Greenberg and Matt Gaetz hardened so you could well be right.

It's a bold strategy really. Gets accused of multiple counts of underage sex trafficking, claims to be in relationships with multiple schoolgirls and that he likes to treat his lady friends well.

Let's see how that works out for him.

So either you're ignorant of how the system works and want to sound important, or are lying. Non-DL records exist in that system.

Also, it's irrelevant whether or not she was in the system or not -- it's still an abuse of privacy by a public official to randomly look up people on a database like that.

Yep, especially when your credentials require renewal via a 'test' where you confirm you know what is and isn't proper use, and what misuse can result in (criminal penalties). Also, that you have to flag a disclaimer acknowledgment and classify what purpose every inquiry is for. But I'm sure fecking knew this, it's not like he's known for just making crap up or trying to sound important.

Amazingly, almost every single person that Dexter looked up in DAVID died shortly thereafter. And nobody could ever put two and two together.

Any day now, Dext.

The tax collector buddy would also have access to the national database because in FL your county tax guy is also you DMV guy.  They can look up driving records and vehicle ownership from all the states and territories.

I was always annoyed that he never had to be at work. He apparently worked in the lab but could just get up and go stalk people all day and nobody noticed. I also thought a good spin off show could have been made about a team of cops that tried to solve all of Dexter's murders.

Your spin off would have to be about missing persons cases, since they resolved the murders that were discovered on the show.

Unless they undo that entirely, which is possible given the shows track record.

Who knows for sure where the feds are headed, but they are pretty tenacious when building a case, especially a high profile case like this one. They will arrest him (if they do) when the case against him is rock solid. Be patient, we may yet see this asshole behind bars.

Let me play devil's advocate for a second.

We know Gaetz and Greenberg we're at the very least aquatinted to each other.

It seems as if Gaetz made specific efforts to meet with this guy in Orlando (out of his district) and seemed to have parties with him.

Greenberg has been caught and convicted of, if he has a superb lawyer, the best plea he could get for the evidence the lawyer knew couldn't even be defended against.

And I'm supposed to believe that he never spoke of this, bragged about it, or took a perhaps after hours drug-fuled trip to HOA office to show Gatez what he's talking about?

If Gatez wasn't sweating before, he should be now that the sentencing phase on Greenberg was pushed back.

That says he is spilling the beans on any and everyone for the best sentence and as the saying goes....you snitch up, not down the crime food chain.

Best outcome, two for one with Marg Green falling with him by financial ties or....cringe....affair

Is Matt Gatez not aware the Brittney has indeed aged 21 years since "Oops! I Did It Again"?

And she was 18 when she recorded that song, so even then she was still too old for him.

Former Florida Tax Collector and Rep. Matt Gaetz associate Joel Greenberg reportedly used a confidential state datable to find out private information about celebrities and political adversaries.

Oh that part is new info. This could be even more interesting.

In general that's true.

But I think it's at least possible that small but loud fish like Gaetz and Taylor Green are being dangled out there as eventual sacrifices.  Meanwhile, many others will use that in hopes of escaping notice.
