Those restaurants are franchise operations, which means they are individually owned, and not owned by Burger King Corporation.  Unless the franchise agreement states that the franchisee is not allowed to engage in partisan political activity on restaurant grounds, there may be nothing Burger King corporate can do about it.

That it is.
There's a prison too. Apparently people don't or can't always go back to where they came from.

Now, a funny thing also happens when you consider the word "Honkey" in this specific context....

Honk if you no longer own a Burger King franchise.

Having lived on the outskirts I'm forced to agree. There are zero signs that you are, in fact, less than an hour from the kindly gaze of God.

Unlikely.
There's bound to be a clause in the contract about not making the parent company look bad.
Franchisees don't have a lot of wiggle room to do their own thing.

Clauses protecting the value of the trademarks as well as the reputation fo the company are pretty common. IMHO the result of this will be a handful of stupid employees unemployed by this afternoon, and ineligible for unemployment.

As it should be.

Stupid people are inexcusable. Kinda like Nancy Pelosi.

I get that, but that does extend to making partisan political statements?   I'm sure that Burger King Corporate donates money to political candidates.

Our local BK closed last year for a remodel and never opened back up. Cook Out is taking over the building in a few months. Cheerwine floats for all!

What's my point? BK is garbage and they all will close (not) soon enough.

/ Oh, and fark the south. Like an old man who can't get boner pills, it will never rise again.

Nobody wants to work there? Gee, why do you think that is? Maybe because I can catch COVID while making 8 bucks and hour?

My local A&W was hounded by corporate to quit doing religious signs for well over a decade.  They finally sold out to a pot shop a few years ago.
