The problem with shows like this is that they're such a downer after a while, just serial killer after serial killer.

But I guess you can't make a show about the FBI profiling people who cut tags off mattresses before sale and use cleaning products in a manner inconsistent with their labeling.

Meh, the show was dead to me when Derek Morgan left.

You have to play to the image of the FBI.  People working in offices investigating papers trails wouldn't make for a very exciting procedural show.

MrsGriffin and I loved that show. The characters were well developed as "real people" esp. Spencer and Penelope. Was sorry to see Derek leave the show, but moving in to be the star of the SWAT reboot was a good idea, IMO.

I didn't even know they had a robot. I'm going to have to go back and watch that shiat now.

I really enjoyed the first few seasons, but at some point it seemed to go off the rails for me, and I lost interest long before the series ended.

Mandy Patinkin was right when he left the show.

Prentiss's bangs were a constant source of bafflement for me whenever I watched that show.

Like the various L&O variants, this was a guilty pleasure. Crime Porn? Sure.

Who cares?

Criminal Minds was more on the murder/snuff porn side of things.  Got way too creepy and Patinkin had the right idea.

No idea about any of that, just really lost interest when the character left.

That was Thomas Gibson (dude from Dharma & Greg).  GNU is referring to Shemar Moore, the guy who left to star on SWAT.

No, I'm saying Garcia harassed Morgan all the time.

But it was cool and funny tho.

If it was reversed, Garcia would have been in HR every episode

Patinkin has pretty good instincts for knowing when to bail on something.

I haven't seen the entire run, but I'd say the best episode was the one with Frankie Munoz.

Bones milked serial killers for all that they are worth and then had inappropriate office relationships...between everyone. Seeing decomposed dead bodies makes you really horny.

And the one with Gavin Rossdale.  Also the "Riding the Lighting"  episode.

Anything directed by Gubler... some of the most tragic episodes.

All these criminal shows are formalistic.  We have no idea what's going on, (last ten minutes of show), oh, here's a crucial evidence and/or mistake by suspect, HE did it!

And I love every episode.
