You mean a gaslighting report with no evidence of fraud yet desperately tries to cast doubt on a free and fair election?

We already knew that.

The hue and cry to try to contaminate as much evidence that there was no fraud as possible? We knew that was coming. At this point, it's just a fundraising schtick. And Donnie is likely to need some money fast for an actually good attorney.

When one of the most notorious trump bootlickers (Ugenti-Rita) turns on the Trump audit, you're officially farked.

I think it translates to, "Boy howdy did we get caught on this one. Who knew that the press would actually watch us throw our thumb onto the scale. Time to throw these flunkies under the bus, and hope we can still get the rubes' cash for at least trying."

She is, I suspect, more of an RNC project. I do think that she's trying to figure out when the best time to trade sides is going to be best, but with the investigations, it's going to be difficult to choose a Republican horse too soon, because it will just be too naked a leap, and eyes WILL focus on her portfolios, and spending, and campaign coffers. She's got some time still, but I think that her days as a Democrat are numbered at this point, but she's a savvy enough player that she'll maximize her value, and declaring too soon is just going to give the RNC a chance to back out and leave her in the dust.

The second audit should include the IRS, FEC, DOJ, and any other federal agency that has an interest in people overturning elections by corrupt audits.  We probably won't hear about those until the results are in, and the indictments handed down.

"Not even a shred of being salvaged at this point," said Sen. Paul Boyer, the first Republican state senator to publicly come out against the audit in May. "They've botched it at so many points along the way that it's irrecoverable."

I assume that this means that the audit conclusively proved that there was zero voter fraud, and that Biden decisively beat Trump.

"Just say it was corrupt, we'll take care of the rest"

I have to admit, I remain convinced that the reason republicans are SO sure the election was tainted is because they themselves tainted it, and figure the only way they could cheat that hard and still lose is if they were out-cheated.

This was a whole thing for show by impotent ragers. Even if something was found it would have to be submitted in a court to get any actual redress, and given the shiatshow, the whole thing is tainted.

No.  It means that now comes the real audit, with blackjack and hookers.  Oh, and they need funding for it.  The donation website should be up shortly.

Supporters of the effort blame stonewalling by Maricopa County. The county's Republican leaders refuse to cooperate, saying "competent auditors" have everything they would need to fully review the vote count.

That's called "being hung out to dry" or "being thrown under the bus." It's an occupational hazard when you work for the GOP.

Has anyone FOIA the information about the procurement of the farking contract awarded to these asshats? There's no way that procurement followed proper procedures. I also doubt that none of the other bidders protested*. Usually, you can request a bunch of info on the procurement if you think your company was cheated out of getting the bid. IDK how a company that lost out to cyberninjas, a vendor with zero experience on election audits, would fail to demand a post procurement conference for an explanation about how they lost the bid or how the content of that meeting wasn't full of red flags.

* Unless they did a sole source. In which case, there's plenty of evidence of corruption on the memo they used to justify awarding this contract w/o an open bid. You'd basically have to claim that no one else could do the job. Kinda of a hard argument when you give the gig to a company with zero experience in the area of work.

They'll never confirm the state's results. Never. Their only two possible results are 1) "it was fraudulent!" or 2) "we cannot confirm the accuracy of the state's results."

Most likely the 2nd, because it casts vague, undisprovable doubt while keeping them out of a legal firestorm.

See, getting a bunch of attention from hopeful insurrectionists and playing anti-democratic propaganda games while glibly sticking your dick in the receipt paper feed slot in Arizona's voting machines is lots of fun right up until you get charged with election tampering by the DOJ. Then, at night, when enjoying a cup of warm milk and the new Netflix 'Hitler In 3D" six part docu-series, you really start thinking about going to prison. I mean reallythinking about it. That's when you begin looking for ways to possibly lessen the blow, like turning in the people who helped plan and fund this stunt.

I suspect that that was part of the goal. I still think that ES&S, where the corpse of Diebold ("proud to deliver Ohio's electoral votes to the [then-]President [GWB]") wound up, is in this up to their ears if not behind much of it. Slime their main competitor (Dominion) using proxies such as Karen the Kraken, Myke Pilendell, et al to hide their own involvement, do "audits" that discredit Dominion and ruin their machines, requiring replacements that, "Well, since the fraudit did cast some doubt on those Dominion machines, we need to find another company to buy the replacements from ― oh, lookie here, ES&S!" I remember reading that ES&S machines seem to consistently favor Republicans at about 5% above both pre-election and exit polling, while elections using other machines or no machines do not.

No. Where they demand the same audit before the results are certified next time, but only if the Democrats win.

The whole point here was to set some goalposts when they don't matter to demand to use them when they do.

I mean they already tried to spread a lie that 70000 mail in ballots had "no evidence they were ever sent." I.e., they appeared out of nowhere and couldn't be linked to any voters.

IF they report they didn't find anything, it will ONLY be because of the rigid scrutiny from an uncharacteristically diligent mainstream media actually doing its job for once, calling stupidly obvious Republican lies "Republican lies."

It takes someone as dumb as the average conservative to think that an audit conducted by a firm called "Cyber Ninjas" could be taken seriously the first place.

The State of Arizona is 100% sure Biden won. It's the Republican hacks and their conspiracy nut brethren who are deliberately attempting to cast a dark cloud over the whole process knowing full well they have jack shiat.

It's a partisan dog and pony show created to inject even more froth into their dumbass voter base. The intention was never to run a legitimate audit. The state of Arizona already ran an audit in February which found nothing.

I have to admit, I remain convinced that the reason republicans are SO sure the election was tainted is because they themselves tainted it, and figure the only way they could cheat that hard and still lose is if they were out-cheated.

Oh it's definitely this. That's why trump constantly talks about how he got more votes than any other sitting president in history and so many more than in 2016. He was worried about losing, so he cheated, but being trump he needed it to be BIG so he could also brag. It was supposed to be his mandate (probably to stay in office until he died). That's why he insists it was STOLEN from him. Has he even said Dems "cheated"? I'm pretty sure he only says the election was "stolen" which to me is telling

It's also why they're making such a stink over faux-fraud.

Because when the truth comes knocking, just like the 1/6 thing, it's going to be endless cries of "oh you didn't let us investigate YOU!" or "we found nothing on you so there's obviously nothing on us!" or some other stupid bullshiat.

On Wednesday night, Logan ended months of silence about who was paying him when he said a whopping $5.7 million had been contributed by political groups run by prominent Trump supporters including Michael Flynn, Sidney Powell, Patrick Byrne and correspondents from One America News Network. The figure dwarfs the $150,000 to be paid by the Senate.

Seriously - if the gummint doesn't investigate the shiat out of this and start handing down charges on these people/entities, then they're f*cking complicit.

everyone noted that, including the person you are quoting knowing that

I meant that no one had mentioned it in this thread.

hubiestubert: yohohogreengiant: hubiestubert: rickythepenguin: "I wanted to review our election processes and see what, if anything, could be improved," Ugenti-Rita wrote on Twitter. "Sadly, it's now become clear that the audit has been botched."

When one of the most notorious trump bootlickers (Ugenti-Rita) turns on the Trump audit, you're officially farked.

Of course she just literally got booed off the stage days ago at a Trump rally for not likcing his boots hard enough.

I think it translates to, "Boy howdy did we get caught on this one. Who knew that the press would actually watch us throw our thumb onto the scale. Time to throw these flunkies under the bus, and hope we can still get the rubes' cash for at least trying."

Everything Trump touches dies.

Wish he could've dismantled Sinema before the end as well.

A savvy player is hardly how I'd describe a former Green Party activist turned Manchin-impersonator. She's stupid. She has hired even dumber people to advise her because she's a narcissist. And she's never going to hold public office again after she loses her next primary.
