This, and:

2) The GOP is fundamentally lazy.

They did not get elected to work, they did not get elected to let government work.

Teaching sewing, not a crime.
Having white, green and yellow fabric available, not a crime.

Federal charges for the children of CRT banning Republicans, priceless and not the fault of the sewing teacher or fabric charity.

Not necessarily fewer people, but some who could check out did so, people moved up a notch and bad bosses are blaming unemployment for their lack of people to tie up in their basements.  I've already seen one angry uncle message printed out by the cash register that shows it's getting to them.  Unfortunately it was 10 ft away from the weapons merchandise display, so things were a little too uncomfortable to laugh about it openly.

I think the question is, can parents tell the school that their child must wear and mask, and expect the school to enforce it. The governor is saying it's a parents decision, but it's not if the school can't enforce it, it's the kids and their friends decision at that point.

They get responsibility for all of the parents who couldn't work remote and just decided to become stay-at-home parents, too, so it's not like they're gaining anything with that.

Chain the schools doors.

We need good old 70s type protests, a hundred parents, with guns (because this is 2021 and the pigs have zero respect for protesters unless they are armed), sitting in front of the school or something.

Even with masks, if you're in a classroom for 40h a week with someone with covid, you gonna catch covid because that infected person breathes and its not a cloth over their mouth thats gonna stop the virus from going into the air, especially not with delta.

Well maybe Biden should do an executive order on COVID and schools using national security/national health crisis.

If we wait for congress or state governments to do anything, thousands of kids will die in the meantime because reasons.

The GOP is conspiring to murder thousands of kids and they should be treated as the terrorist group they are. Nothing will change in this farking country until that happens and the GOP is dealt with once and for all.

How do healthcare workers not all end up with Covid, then?

N99, gallon of hand sanitiser per day. Easy.

The issue I think is really at play here is that people's children are too stupid to take Covid seriously and will take their masks off thanks to peer pressure.

That wasn't whataboutism.

That was me pointing out that your argument was a failure of the is/should divide. Neither group should have to protest, but they do. You are confusing idealism with reality.

Taxpayers need to strike.

Like, ideally our society would be equitable enough that protests wouldn't be necessary. But we don't live in that world. We live in one where protests are a necessary part of social change, whether it's unions protesting for fair work treatment, or women protesting for reproductive rights, or the queer community protesting for equal treatment under the law, or Black people protesting against police violence, or parents protesting against reckless COVID school policy.
