Maybe he signs with his foot.

I've pissed my name in the snow before and it looked better than that!
(Although it was my girlfriend's handwriting)

While in Canada, right?

Could be NY. Don't most Canadian girlfriend stories have them meeting at Niagra Falls.

Actually knew a guy in college who claimed to have a Canadian girlfriend. For reference, we went to UT Austin.

I was, like, "he's illiterate, almost -- how did he get out of high school??"

He is not a nice guy. You are just insulated by privilege.

Well, you do you. Not knowing me or anything you know? Love and hate doesn't have to necessarily be binary.

I don't remember using either of those words, but I can tell you you're most likely white, male, and straight/cisgender, because when you're not? Those "nice" people stop being very nice. And you don't see that, because of your privilege.

Me, I don't consider anyone who supports Republican Nazi scum as "nice." I can't imagine a definition of "nice" that would accommodate such a morally monstrous existence.

But hey, yeah, I'm sure he's a super awesome swell super cool dude yo. Totally.

We are both educators. We can both parse information. Sure I'm straight but most of the ladies in my life are not. My first best friend growing up as a young teen was flaming gay. So no, I don't live my life through "straight white privilege".

You hate everybody that you don't agree with 100%. I'm not the same. Even though I don't have your life experience, that doesn't mean you can't spread love over hate.

Yep, that's what privilege sounds like.

That's his real handwriting?

Goddamn, he is mentally challenged. He writes like someone who never held a pencil before.

To be fair, he did come out of a crippling auto accident, and that damage could explain the cartoonishly bad handwriting.

After my aneurysm blew, I had some brain damage thanks to being deprived oxygen as my blood supply collected in my chest instead of circulating. It definitely affected my handwriting and I had to relearn how to paint and draw. My first attempts at both were...to be honest, they scared the sh*t out of me. My calligraphy has never recovered, save with a brush-my katakana and kanji both improved. It took months of practice to be legible, and my drawing style changed quite a lot.

I try to reserve judgement on his handwriting until I can see examples before his crash. I mean, he is the sort of douchebro to have cartoonishly bad written skills, but some of that could be brain/spinal damage.

On the other hand,
[Fark user image image 768x432]
if he lacks fine motor control of his fingers, then handing him a sniper rifle is as irresponsible as handing whiskey and car keys to teen-age boys.

Bad faith argument? On fark?

This. The Tanker-style holster isn't supposed to be worn on the clavicle.  It's meant to be worn like this:

Wearing it that high up means you're going to be practically doing the YMCA dance or the Hitler Salute with your draw stroke, it's going to be uncomfortable, and it's going to take more time to get the gun on target if you needed to use it.

For a guy in his position, he's better off either with a shoulder holster or a cross-draw holster that will keep the firearm out of his way.

2021-07-31 11:01:42 AM
Also, i should note, the modern variations of the tanker holster are popular for large hunting handguns (.44 mag revolvers, etc.) because it makes it fairly easy to draw, it can keep the thing under your jacket to protect against inclement weather, and it puts it somewhere that it's not likely to snag when you're going through the woods/brush.

They are also fairly popular in remote areas for those out on ATVs as it makes drawing while on an ATV much easier and more comfortable than a hip holster, crossdraw or otherwise, would.

They are generally not intended for concealed carry use at all, mostly because you'd really only get away with it during the wintertime and then only if you never took off your jacket (or an outer shirt, but then people'll look at you funny because your shirts are, like, 5x too big).

Madison is his middle name. He chose to call himself that, his first name is david.

Do you happen to know HOW this little twerp became paralyzed?

He was driving back from "spring break"  at daytona beach with his best bud brad, while still in high school (what kind of parents let their high school kid go unsupervised to daytona to get wasted on the beach?).

They were in a single car accident when they tried to switch the passenger/driver positions WHILE driving 80mph on the highway "to save time"! (Something they did "all the time" -certainly not because they were drunk reckless teenagers....)

Brad pulled madison from the flaming wreck and saved his life. Madison then went to college and lied to everyone saying brad had left him to die and some stranger pulled him from the wreck.

He did this to himself.

The only miracle is that they didn't kill anyone else with their extreme idiocy.

Still feel we can't insult him about it???

"You know, suffering from a brain injury after the accident definitely I think it slowed my brain down a little bit. Made me less intelligent. And the pain also made reading and studying very difficult." While also contributing 'heartbreak' to his decision as well when his then fiancée broke up with him.

He's been playing victim ever since the car accident.  No wonder why he's in Congress. Him and Gogurt (or whatever that idiot from CO's name is) must be the BEST of friends.

Not anymore.  Its really up to the wearer, but when in vehicles it is easier to draw from chest than from waist-ish area with that style of holster.  You'll be on target a lot faster.

I've had to muzzle fark some people from sitting position while driving or as a passenger in MRAPs and my tank, and I can assure you, in the cramped space it's easier to reach to chest and get into ready position than across body (especially if in seated position).

Look at modern kit, kind of hard to draw from hip, leg, and or side like the above holster.

Rejected from Annapolis , leaves friend to die in a wreck, cannot even place his sidearm in a way he could access it without difficulty, has some stupid Spartan logo on his garbage gear. I would bet he does not care about that canines hearing either.

In length- fark that guy. I would love to see a real Vet in a chair beat his ass. Bonus if it was an Enlisted Marine . I would use my car as collateral to bail said Marine out of jail.

This. The Tanker-style holster isn't supposed to be worn on the clavicle.  It's meant to be worn like this:

Even the modern variations of the design are meant to go in roughly the same place:

Wearing it that high up means you're going to be practically doing the YMCA dance or the Hitler Salute with your draw stroke, it's going to be uncomfortable, and it's going to take more time to get the gun on target if you needed to use it.

For a guy in his position, he's better off either with a shoulder holster or a cross-draw holster that will keep the firearm out of his way.

My issue is similar. By the time he is able to somehow draw - he is already dead. It hurts my arm just to pantomime what he has to do. Perhaps that is not so at his age ( about 30 years younger ) . .

dr_blasto: Aussie_As: Throwing words like "apartheid" around in debates about masks is just farking disgusting.

Millions in South Africa suffered massive discrimination on the basis of their skin colour, a characteristic they were born with and had no choice in. That was disgusting.

But not all discrimination is disgusting. It's only disgusting when it's about attributes which we are born with or are fundamental to us. We all freely discriminate all the time, quite sensibly so. If someone's walking around in the middle of most cities with no pants on, you'll probably cross the road to avoid them and if you don't call the cops you won't be surprised when somebody does. That's normal discrimination. If you call it trousers apartheid you're a weirdo.

Similarly, the choice to mask or not mask is not only a simple, non-fundamental one (with few medically relevant exceptions, I give those genuine cases a pass) but it's painless and sensible in these pandemic times, just as it was a century ago during the Spanish Flu pandemic. They didn't die or particularly suffer due to masks then and we won't now. It's really farking simple.

So if you're throwing around words like apartheid or Nazi because you deem this comparable with massively life-changing (or indeed life-ending) discrimination fark you, you're not only an arsehole but your opinion can be stricken from the record, you just don't deserve any attention or to be taken seriously about anything.

Trousers apartheid is the name of my Midnight Oil tribute act zydeco band.

Do you do a cover of "Warakurna"?

Given the way the Spartan helmet/Molon Labe is prominently displayed, I would guess he put it there for the staged photo.

Shaggy_C: dkulprit: He doesn't trigger liberals, people just think he's an idiot.

To this day people still think TFG is an "idiot." Yet, he managed to win 74 million votes and almost singlehandedly undo 60 years of liberal democratic consensus in the world.

It's all an act.

What part of Cawthorn's utter lies, some caught in a court of law, is an act? He is really a moron. It's not an act to appeal to the base.

Only way I can see it being somewhat comfortable there is if you routinely combined Yoga with boogie nights disco dancing.

luna1580: Tarl3k: Come on everybody...Madison(who farking names their kid Madison?  What kind of asshole still uses that name?)  This guy is a total piece of shiat and we can all rip on him for being an idiot and a rapist...but him being paralyzed isn't something to rip on him about.  Don't give him a legitimate reason to say he's discriminated against.  Attack him for the things he says and does, not for his disability.

Let's also talk about how he was an avid sexual harasser

spongeboob: Madison is a girl's name

It's also historically a surname not a first/given name, à la James.

I'm in a wheelchair most of the time. I EARNED my disability through hard labor and scaring sh*theads.

This guy is a f*ckstain who did it to himself with brazen arrogance and stupidity and is now propping up people who enjoy dabbling in Naziism.

And you know what Nazis did to cripples?

Yeah... I think you will find most people in chairs that are aware of this asshole would have ZERO problem with mocking him in this manner.

Hell... I was gonna post the Manhunter gif myself but glad to see it had been covered.

lol
