Just the sorting and searching for the right pieces and right colors in mind boggling.

I can't imagine what this would cost. So many custom requirements. Awesome build!

I'm surprised his wife/girlfriend let him do this.

For those not in the know (like I wasn't), MOC = My Own Creation.

For the amount of Lego in there it is pretty blah. Not really an inspiring scene and there isn't really that much detail. Lots of 'textured' blank walls and surfaces. Also, I thought the sequels were being retconned out?

You'll have to give some serious sources on that because it sounds way more like a Reddit-edgelord wetdream than anything believable.

Yep.  Lot of time and effort. Congrats. Only wish it had gone into recreating something from proper Star Wars movie.

There's plenty of women who would LOVE if it their husband/boyfriend would play with LEGO in the garage all day for fun, instead of screwing other women or spending all day drinking in a bar somewhere or gambling away their paychecks.

Excelsior: or gambling away their paychecks.

That might be cheaper

Used LEGOs tend to have a higher resale value than used lottery tickets.
