So the jawbone is almost an inch long? Scary. Also fak the auto play videos, I'd love to read more but every 5 seconds I have an ad in my face. I guess on one hand a flying mammal can't be huge, it needs to fly after all.

So, it's 30% bigger than it's living relative that has a wingspan of 20"? We're calling a 27" bat a "giant" when we have the Large Flying Fox more than twice that size and it just gets called "Large"?

Typical Daily Fail clickbait, this varmint was found in 1988 in Venezuela, only thing new is they found one in Argentina.

I think it's especially kind of a let down because of the legit gigantic stuff from earlier periods. Six foot rat, enormous sloth... modestly sized bat.
