Others demanded that law enforcement refrain from attacking them because "'we're not Black Lives Matter,' as if political affiliation is how we determine when to use force," Hodges noted.

Well, to be fair, to most right wingers, and a lot of them in law enforcement, that's how you're supposed to do it.

They don't follow the teachings of the Gospels.
They don't respect cops.
They don't give a shiat about the constitution.

Maybe they should ditch the imagery altogether.

Is anyone really surprised that they seem incensed and indignant? Their 50-year plan to remake American politics in their image, which culminated in the Presidency, has peaked with no discernable accomplishments.

Meanwhile, the idle wealthy is luxuriating in a new Gilded Age of absolute control, living beyond their wildest dreams, after having worn the Christian Right like a skin-suit.

And not a single christian group loudly states that they are not, so all christians are the same.

Until christians police their own, they should be considered the same as the George Floyd murderer: liars, amoral filth, garbage, racists and full of hate.

Of course, their history shows that they are a religion of mass murder.  Unless someone can present real evidence that any other religion have murdered more people than christianity.

The re-creation of the Gilded Age is the culmination of the 50 year plan to remake American politics in the image of American prosperity gospel Christianity.

The Christians got what they wanted economically. They're only upset that they haven't yet been allowed to fully re-subjugate women and wage a genocide against minorities.

Which is ironic, considering Christ was a black Arab-Jew/undocumented immigrant who touted non-violence. He's nothing more than a figurehead they tack their wonky ideology onto, rather than anything he was talking about. Last I checked, white people (the Romans) were the invaders and conquistadors in the New Testament, which seems to be something these idiots get a boner over.

But how would the insurgents convince Christians to not appreciate the suffering of the BLMs if they aren't also Christians. Then we'll just end up passing some other equal rights legislation and all this will be for nothing.

Don't forget that he was a violent rioter who attacked people with a farking whip just because they were using religion for profit, and a radical leftist who repeatedly condemned the wealthy (explicitly saying that they would not go to Heaven), healed and fed people without charging them for it, and palled around with criminals.

If Jesus showed up in modern times, Republicans and their ilk would crucify him within a week.

Well, technically occupiers at that point.  The Roman Empire of that period was a hugely civilizing force.  At the time of Paul (a citizen of Rome) it was possible for a travellor to proceed unarmed and unguarded throughout much of Southern and Eastern Europe as well as the Middle East.  Ironically, the Pax Romana allowed the spread of Christianity to occur far more quickly than would have been otherwise possible which is arguably one of the major factors contributing to its fall.

Sadly, Christianity started out, for about the first 100-150 years as one of the most decent and humane movements ever conceived.  After Paul got done bastardizing and corrupting its central messages that things began to be organized on a broader level and went completely to dogshiat soon after.

Many of them would like to pretend it isn't that. But it is that, and they provide material support for it, and they do in fact associate with the people who are Christian terrorists.

It's fundamentally analogous to the mythical "good cop" that maybe doesn't do all the evil racist shiat, but will still go to the ends of the Earth to defend the bad cops that do.
