Yeah, they're already well versed in the "stick your head in the sand and pretend it's not happening" technique.

Trouble is, they're also good at "if it does happen to me, I'm different and blameless and deserve special treatment NOW!" follow-up.

Good. Maybe with less population those states will need fewer federal tax dollars and have less representation in Congress.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If they want to kill off their own constituents there isn't much I can do about it. Really they've had more then enough warning, notice, etc at this point. I just hope it's like flash paper and burns them down quick before mutating in to something that gets around vaccines.

Good question.  Given that i broke my finger a few months ago and the doctor charged my insurance nearly $800, i would say a lot.

Criminal negligence leading to death. Every time someone dies from covid in the state, they get charged with one count.

It's not a conspiracy!  It's right out there in the open.  It's a patriotic duty. Throwing out Republican ballots is good for the soul.  It's good for the wallet. It's good for the environment, and 9 out of 10 dentists say it makes your teeth whiter.  Heck Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, and MLK were all in favor.

Also, Texas and Florida haven't expanded Medicaid and have low health insurance coverage stats. Some may be facing six figure hospital bills.

ONE MORE TIME FROM THE CHEAP SEATS

People with compromised immune systems are the first people to get the shots, because they have a farking compromised immune system.

The shot does not offer as much protection as those with regular immune systems, but it is better than not getting it and having Covid wreck/kill you.

People who are very immunocompromised can't have certain vaccines, such as the vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella, because the vaccine contains weakened live viruses that are too dangerous for damaged immune systems.

Because the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines contain only the genetic instructions for a single protein specific to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, it's safe for this group to receive either vaccine. (Only patients with a history of severe allergy to the vaccines' ingredients should not be vaccinated.)

Surprisingly, there's already public health case law from the last two decades where local officials and operators were sued over failure to prevent Legionella infections related to hot tubs and hot tub displays (at garden shows). As a result, lots of laws were passed to help protect local officials, but operators are still on the hook when something happens.

In short, the lawsuits stem from knowing (through scientific study) that hot tubs present a high risk of spread and that unless operators are actively preventing it from happening (and local regulators monitoring to make sure it's being done), they're knowingly allowing the disease to spread.

I'm not sure if these cases will be quoted by anyone or anything related to COVID-19, but the next few years are certainly going to be interesting to watch from a legal standpoint.

misanthropicsob: Is it hitting rural areas with high density of Republicans or mostly urban areas where the Democrats live?

Any pandemic is going to hit urban areas harder due to simple population density.

Once the masks come off, they don't go back on. Who out there would listen?

I've had my shots. My whole family has had their shots. No one is getting hospitalized if they've been vaccinated.

I spent a year hypervigilant and entirely isolated while these farks ran around maskless having Christmas dinners and Supreme Court nomination parties. No farking way do I spend a single moment concerned with their health after they've made it so clear they don't care about ours.

this is exactly the problem.  Schools with 99% of their students unvaccinated want to require masks and the parent Karen's don't want to.  Not realizing that every sniffle is going to be treated like covid and masks have cut down on lots of sniffles as well as covid.

School starts in two weeks for my brood in GA and we are trying to find online options but there aren't many since "the pandemic is over and we must get back to normal".  Homeschooling is becoming more of a reality for us until kids can get vaxxed.

its going to be a shiat-show.

2021-07-22 2:36:02 PM
This is a conspiracy!

First covid is not real.

Second they're inflating numbers to make them look bad!  People are dying of things like vampires and zombie attacks and they're just claiming covid (the not real virus) cuz they get paid more!

Thirdly if the current admin would just say how good of a job the last admin is doing, people would be more willing to take it seriously.

Also we should totally thank Trump for making the vaccine for the not real virus faster than ever before!

2021-07-22 2:37:14 PM
I hope delta wipes out all the unvaccinated republicans, who get their health information from Fox News, King trump, and other liars. I hope they die alone and scared in their houses, surrounded by their many loving guns.
