You could walk up to Cruz and play that clip for him and it wouldn't bother him in the slightest.

He would just ramble on about some other thing that democrats are currently doing that outrages him even though Trump did the same thing but way worse.

What a f*ckin' sh*theel.

I mean, it's Ted Cruz, but still.

Destroying people's lives....Ted, you stupid f*ck. Being such a dishonest, puddle of scum really should be a lot more difficult and painful.

Out of all the shiatty takes I've heard in the last year, that was certainly one of them.

Trump said the same thing. He said covid would disappear "like magic".

Has anyone reminded him lately that his wife is ugly?

El_Frijole_Blanco: Has anyone reminded him lately that his wife is ugly?

I think there are a lot of people who would be willing to tell him, but don't because they're really uncomfortable at the idea of Ted responding by cupping their balls.

I'd rather remind Mrs Cruz that she's pretty by showing her a Very Nice Time, IYKWIMAITYD.

And just with that he should be kicked out of the senate. Hell Texas and Kentucky should be kicked out of the senate since they just elect traitors again and again and again and again.

If everything was "magically better" Ted Cruz wouldn't exist.

"Well, I shouldn't have said what I said, because that tipped off the Democrats that we knew what they were doing.  So instead they came up with this Delta Variant, Fauci and the Chinese did, so they wouldn't have to admit they oversold the first virus just to scare good patriotic Republican voters."

Cruz doesn't give a shiat about anyone pointing out his hypocrisy. He knows he is a liar and that you figured it out, doesn't make you smarter than him or more observant. His message served it;s purpose then, and he'll ignore and could careless about anyone pointing it out.

He is such a useless slithering shiat weasel.

He's right, of course. Just not in the way he thought it would be.

He was wrong. He was cynical -- and we shouldn't be a part of it. 100% true.

He doesnt care. He says shiat to get working people to vote for him and then he kisses corporate ass.

He would see us all die if he could remain in power with a corporate paycheck. See: ERCOT

Everybody hates Ted Cruz, even other Republican Senators. To know him, is to loathe him.

It can't be a guarantee without some promise of restitution or recompense. In fact, as he continues to harm our collective consciousness, I don't believe that there is a substantive compensation possible for his continued existence that would alleviate the harm he has done to his electorate and to the American people as a whole.

It won't bother the GQP base, either.

Hey, Ted, I have 2 questions about that scraggly beard of yours. Is that bald patch on your chin purposefully made to create a nice smooth landing strip for Trump's balls, or was it worn away to a smooth patch because of Trump's balls?

Ambivalence: Trump said the same thing. He said covid would disappear "like magic".

I've watched the video many times. He says it'll go away like a miracle and does a double hand wave motion that looks like something David Copperfield would do.

This is just yet another example of Republicans projecting their lack of principle and performative politics on others.

I mean, that's what THEY would have done.  Obviously the Democrats must be doing it too.,

And their voters, being exactly as shiatty as the GOP politicians, buy it hook, line and sinker because that's absolutely what they would have done themselves.

My cousin is an infectious diseases specialist in Georgia. I'll ask him every month or so how things are in his hospital. A couple months ago he said they were empty of COVID-19 patients. Now he says he's seeing a surge in cases again. A new wave is emerging it seems.

That day, Texas had hit its first peak at 10,000 cases per week. This idiot believes conspiracy theories from a handful of Twitter idiots but thought tens of thousands of his own people were just actors with a cold.

Old and busted:

Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and John Kasich all stepped back from their earlier pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee during Tuesday night's CNN town hall.
"All of us shouldn't even have answered that question," Kasich said of the pledge party officials asked all the candidates to sign in September.
"No, I don't anymore," Trump said, when asked by CNN's Anderson Cooper if he continued "to pledge to support whoever the Republican nominee is?"
Trump said he has "been treated very unfairly" by the Republican National Committee and party establishment figures. The billionaire front-runner accused rival Cruz of "essentially saying the same thing" in response to a question about the pledge.
Earlier, Cruz had told Cooper when asked the same question: "I'm not in the habit of supporting someone who attacks my wife and my family ... I think nominating Donald Trump would be an absolute trainwreck, I think it would hand the general election to Hillary Clinton."

But at least now, 95-99% of them deserve it.

And his target audience believes that is exactly what happened.  All those Democrat mayors and governors cynically declared the pandemic was over the minute Biden got inaugurated.

They also simultaneously believe the opposite: that all those Democrat mayors and governors are autocratic tyrants using the fake pandemic hoax as an excuse to tread on the liberty of freedom loving Americans.

Because their beliefs have nothing to do with objective reality, and everything to do with shaping reality to fit their worldview.
