Taco bell sucks now. Even for late night drunk/stoned grub. Mine charged me $6.50 last week for the "5 dollar nacho box" -with no special alterations- and it wasn't even the yummy pile of salted processed grease I remembered. I'm done with ever going there again

Look at this crap.  This is right by BGSU campus.  Open 11a-6p.  Closed Sunday.  What the actual f*ck.  Apparently the labor market and shortages have massacred it.

Salmonella?

For some things, any manager worth their title could justify taking money to spend at the store. Especially with the veggies.

Wow. Not cool at all. Bowling Green has dealt with enough massacres without you referring to their job market as such.

Shameful.

Oh noes!! People can't get some of the most vile fast food available, when they want it, the way they want it!
It must be the end of civilization!

Funny though, I have all the ingredients at home for tacos/burritos/etc... maybe they should source/make their own garbage. *shrug*

Still bewildering to me, the Taco Hell 1 mile from my house is always busy. Literally some of the worst food around, and there is almost always a line at any time of the day. It's absolutely baffling.

A user from Michigan said that her Taco Bell was out of chicken and beef, adding, "i just ate black beans in a hard shell. was not worth it."

She just ate something remotely healthy for the first time in years, and couldn't deal with it. I'm soooo sad!

it really is sad not to make your own Mex at home. that's what left overs are all about. pretending you know something about ethnic foods. and the supermarkets make it extra easy by having 90% of the ingredients all in one little area. you can use ground turkey, make it better for you than mystery meat.

The once always busy Wendy's nearby is now permanently closed because they couldn't find workers. I really wanted to try that ghost pepper sauce too.

It's likely some corporate policy BS with regards to quality (heh) and consistency of ingredients...but couldn't someone just make a Sam's Club or Costco run?

If you use ground turkey, make sure to get the ground turkey thigh, and not the ground turkey breast.

Ground turkey breast is for.... I'm honestly not sure what.  Maybe spackle, if you were trying to make the meat equivalent of a gingerbread house.  Leave it for the people with Covid who lost their sense of taste, so aren't going to enjoy their food no matter what it is

- a. yes, all of ^this.
- 2. apologies off-topic, but I'd meant to reply to your comment about unchlorinated water in a thread that'd closed - if you leave tap water in a large container for 24 hours, all the chlorine will out-gas/sublimate/whatevers. (years of experience wrangling turtle aquaria, luna knows the drill...)

We make tacos/burritos at home that taste a  million times better and never give us the shiats. It's easy- cook up ground beef (or marinated chicken) in a skillet. For beef, drain fat, add water and taco seasoning. Cut up some lettuce, onions, tomato. Use any taco shells/burritos or use lettuce to make a salad. Add cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, and/or cilantro or guacamole depending on what you like. I would take that over Taco Bell mush any day.

What's wrong with you that your body can't endure taco bell ?

I'm sure most fast food franchises test their food so that it specifically doesn't hurt their customers.

Maybe you're just lying about it affecting you to elevate your self-image ?

"Oh, my body is so pure and healthy that it rejects fast food"

give me a break.
