Terrible headline.

Fantastic tech, however.

Digital control over undoing bras? Well I never looked forward to a mass hacking incident before but it appears we have better days ahead of us boys. Here's hoping I'm on a beach near a bunch of pretty ladies in two piece swimsuits when they unlatch and refuse to reclose.

/not serious
//but I do like boobies, just consensual boobies is preferable... you get to touch those.

On a slightly more serious note: another organization has demonstrated using a brain chip over the motor control areas that operated a person's arm and hand could be used for driving a thought-to-speech system.  It detects the effort to write a word and converts it to the word.  Apparently the action of writing is so complex that it is a reliable process to work with.

This headpiece might be usable in the same way.

I mean... that's not really a joke.  Removing your clothing, especially tight-fitting stuff with hooked fasteners, actually is one of the primary purposes of this tech, by virtue of it being intended to assist people with mobility and motor function issues and those being two of the big pains in the ass for people with those issues.

Undressing, even more than dressing usually, is one of the main things you'll have to assist your grandparents with when they get old enough to require care.  A farkin' sweet robot arm to let them do it themselves would... okay, I dunno if it'd actually be better, but it'd likely make them happier.  The need for physical assistance is one of the things a lot of nursing home patients and people in home care get reeeeeeally biatchy about.

My photographic memory of Janet Jackson in Rolling Stone will have to suffice.
