He's terrified of going broke paying for four Kardashian wanna-be's.

Just let yourself go. Just stash a bunch of money first. He won't desire the au natural you, then it's over.

If you just do butt stuff, he won't have to look at your face, so let it go.

Mrs. IgG4 had her eyelashes tinted recently. She got pissed when I didn't take that shiat 100% seriously.

I can get an oil pan and bottle of Clorox at Walmart for under ten bucks.  She can just sit in that during her stories.

Tell him not to worry about mom.  The expectations of the larger society are significantly more powerful.

Well, there's a new phrase for me to hate. "My body is wonderful, so I need to keep fixing it."

Maybe it's a just a gigantic waste of money and he'd rather help pay for the kids college than see you with freshly pained toenails weekly.

Are your savings and financial responsibilities and needs met?
Have you sat down with your children to explain that you do these things because you want to and not because you need to?
Have you sat down with your husband to explain that you do these things because they bring you happiness?

Answer all three truthfully and honestly and then move on with your life.

That routine sounds pretty narcissistic.  But biatch, remember--YOURE WORTH IT.

This is what you get for being raised on advertising, you schizophrenic perfect consumer.  There's nothing that screams, " I'm my own person" louder than buying a bunch of body modifications.  You can even pick your own brands, and have them tattooed all over your body.  That's a sign of a person who is secure in who they are, without any of those societal norms.  Turning your body into a billboard is how you show society that it doesn't affect you.  You did it all by yourself.
And $30,000 worth of purchased, cosmetic fringe.

Way to go.

No. There can't possibly be any negative results of vanity and narcissism.

So you want her to just lie to her husband and children?

article: wife says: 'I don't want to have to learn to love my mustache and my unruly hair. Is it so bad for our daughters' self-esteem that I alter my appearance?'

Will her husband actually want the 'real you' look if he's been in the dark?

Counterpoint, my body is wonderful so I like to take care of it.

Of course some asshole might use it as an excuse to have a facelift every 8 months, but if you don't take care of your body it goes to shiat pretty fast.

I get most of my face waxed (I'm Italian and Greek, so we're very hairy)

Lady, if you're getting most of your face waxed you're a werewolf. Don't go blaming innocent Italians and Greeks just because your ass crack has more hair than Borat's.

I thought of that after making my comment. There is a point where you're trying to be yourself, and there's a point where you're trying to be someone you saw on tv.

And there's trying to be who you want to be. It's not easy to comment on those issues.

So her husband doesn't believe in... basic grooming?

Haircuts and manicures? Really? Another man trying to tell a woman how they should look/act. But she should do less and be "more natural" because daughters! So he's not a misogynist, he's just woke!

Bet if you told him you were thinking about a boob job it would suddenly be "well it's your decision what to do with your body, if it makes you feel confident and happy, I say go for it!!!!"
