Simultaneity between modern Earth and a citadel at the end of time. . .

Ok, I'm in. Let the multiversal shenanigans begin!

It's almost like Wanda becoming the Scarlet Witch was a Nexus Event.

OK. I'm sold. This isn't just the submitter making it sync up; This is both shows running at the same time, with the same timestamp, and these things sync up.

Wanda becomes SW and He Who Remains looks around and says "we've crossed the threshold", then Wanda does a flourish with her hand and thunder sounds on Loki, causing HWR to react, then HWR drops the pencil just as Agatha hits the ground. Over HWR's shoulder you can see a patch of the multiverse getting redder and redder as the scene progresses.

It's a solid theory. And fun. I'm on board.

Jesus, back in the 80s did grown-ass people engage in this much debate over Serpentor?

Wouldn't be surprised, honestly.

Where there are fans, there are debates, theories, counter theories.  The internet just made everything public.

Wine Sipping Elitist: Sylvie should have read his mind and found out what he was talking about but nooooooooo.

She was only thinking at that point about getting revenge for being kidnapped and forced to spend her entire life as a fugitive on the run. She had no interest in a rational response.

You didn't have a lot of serialized storytelling in television back then. All that kind of speculation and debate happened with print comics.

She had to be able to touch him, which they showed that he knew her every movement and could easily evade it. So she couldn't have unless he allowed it, and that was not his plan.

But before she shish-ka-bobbed him she was right on top of him. She could have enchanted him before he became a pin cushion.

Highly doubtful that her irrationality will improve once she discovers the consequences of her actions. She is not going to be a sane person.

You mean touch him like this, after he no longer knew what was going to happen and moments before she killed him?

Yep, exactly like that, when they were already beyond the threshold and she had made her decision to kill him already and so attempting to enchant him to try and discover if he was lying or not no longer mattered as regardless if he was telling the truth or not her mind was made up.

Plus like an average TVA soldier took a lot of time to crack to give up the location of Kang's Make Believe Lizard Band, the guy who managed a Sacred Timeline for eons and put into motion her being in his office in the first place probably would've been prepared for that.

And for what purpose would it serve? Do you think she would've changed her mind about pig sticking him and decided against revenge if she had a better understanding of what he was talking about?

So yeah. She didn't do it because she couldn't and then when she could it no longer mattered.

OK, then. What super-mature movie or show do you want to talk about? The Kardashians? Ice Road Truckers? James Bond? Jason Bourne?

Oh, wait... Those last two are superheroes. They must be for kids.

In the 80s?  Would you care for links to 3 forums where the debate is ongoing right this second?  I got your JoeCustoms, your HissTank, and your Fwoosh; what's your pleasure?

Yeesh, all paying attention to the show and shiat.  What kind of nerd does that?
