No way would I have fallen in such a dignified way.   He didn't even spill his coffee.  Mad props.

Kinda sums up American politics...
This or any of millions of child-adult interactions.
But yea, dope clip.

I kind of feel like this is fake, but does make a point.

There are 10 kinds of people. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

2021-07-20 7:20:38 PM
There's only me. The rest of you are figments of my imagination.

2021-07-20 8:03:23 PM
He probably just paid $10+ for that coffee, yer goddamn right he didn't spill it ;-)

clearly, that lady has never worked in retail/service industry/owned a business where the public walks on your property in her life.

even if she wasn't thinking "hmmm, other people could slip and actually get hurt" she would have been thinking "JFC are slip-n-falls annoying lawsuits, better get that wet floor sign back up STAT!"

narrator: actually she was HOPING the business/food court/airport/wherever this is would be sued. she's held a DEEP grudge against them for AGES!

Christ... the three seconds when you click on a link not realizing it's some "Twitter" gibberish and not being able to quickly click way because of the length of time it takes to load.

I can't believe I pine for the days when Fark had "Jezebel" links instead of Twitter.

There's the type that divides people into two types and the type that doesn't.

NateAsbestos: There's only me. The rest of you are figments of my imagination.

Ha!

I'm a figment of my own imagination.

Yup.  Men and women.

No, American politics would involve some obese MAGA throwing the guys coffee on him while he resets the sign while Jesus and an eagle do an impromptu riff on a Mexican donkey show in the background.

The link itself not only literally says 'Twitter' but has the little blue bird logo in case you're a lobotomized troglodyte incapable of reading or writing any portion of the English language other than your inevitable inane complaints.

Sorry Luna, but you are giving her WAY too much credit. She was so clueless that she walked right into a clearly visible sign, then "cleaned it up" with the least minimum thought and effort, not wanting to admit error or deal with putting it right.
There was no deep anything here, just some clueless lazy person who can't be bothered with anything that doesn't immediately affect themselves.

There's a word for that...

Am I supposed to be proud that I fit into both categories?

I don't think you should ascribe to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.

I don't think that was 'two types of people'--I think she saw a sign out, didn't see the spill, assumed there was no reason for a hazard, and moved it, and was just wrong. If you have incomplete information, you're going to end up doing the wrong thing, not because you're a bad person, but because you don't know what's going on in the first place.

/and that's why when I worked in a casino we had to physically guard the spill
//clear liquids are really hard to spot until you slip, fall, and break your skull open on the nice hard 'artistically stone-like' floor that they could've covered with a damn carpet but refused to and is already slippery enough so you need work shoes to cross it.
///Never saw anyone break their skull open on my watch, but I'm pretty sure it happened a few times. Along with people jumping off the top of the parking garage. And apparently it was 'too expensive' to put railings and fences up...

Agree kinda. She stopped to pick it up. If she had kicked it under the table then we have two types.

That said, there are two types of people. Those who put their shopping carts away and those that can't be bothered.

Musta Irished up those coffees a bit. Nothing keeps a glass vertical like knowing there's alcohol in it.

The lady who put the sign up against the wall was an idiot. A reasonable person would have re-set it where it originally was.

There, now was that so hard?

Two kinds of people in the world?

You mean those who can spot a faked video and those who can't?
