If we don't get diggle GL soon, I'm out CW.

At least Stargirl is bringing in old school silver age Alan Scott's daughter.

Subby here. I was wrong about Superman & Lois with last week's headline. It was not the penultimate episode of the season like The Flash's one was. There are two more episodes after tonight's.

On The Flash so far: cute how the memory-tapping helmets Barry and Hart were wearing in the lab look like Jay Garrick's Flash costume's Hermes/Mercury-style helmet.

Just who would that be?
All those comics I read years ago, I should know this.
Darn it, I just can't put my finger on it.
Even though I know I should know who she is.

Why is Joe wearing that hat at the wedding thing???

That finale was awful, not even Reverse flash could save it.  This season was terrible.  They need to retool or retire the show because it's just not working.

The Flash:

As part of the 150th episode, or something like that, I knew they'd bring people back.. but the Reverse Flash surprised me.  I knew he'd be back someday, but not when.  Good part there.. well, the Speed Force lightsabers were a little cheesy.

They reached out to the Dark Speed Force.. since Thawn created it, and Barry created the other Forces, I wonder if we're going to have a face to face conversation with the Dark Speed Force someday.  Since it's powered by hate, I expect it won't be an enjoyable one.

I'd wondered if somehow August would keep the innocence of his memory deprived self... and it was a big NOPE on that.

I'd heard Iris would become a speedster.. didn't realize the Speed Force herself would just make it so.

Wedding renewal.. not as cheesy as I thought it would be.  Impulse is either a really good singer, or a really good lip syncer, I couldn't be sure which.

Oh, and Kramer turned out to be a meta mimic.

There was an ASA commando with that ability on Black Lightning.  But he found out that having Black Lightning's powers without a suit to regulate it meant he couldn't pull in as much electricity without overloading his own brain.

Alphax: Oh, and Kramer turned out to be a meta mimic.

Peter Petrelli had that on Heroes.  Empathic Mimicry is the power to reproduce the powers of other advanced humans within proximity of the user.

But yes, it was a goofy Flash finale.  I really hope they can fix things.  I can't handle more of the same.

Superman & Lois:

Felt like the calm between storms.

Smallville is still reeling from Edge's plans, and fingers are pointing in all the wrong directions.  The Cushing family is about ready to move away, and Lois herself is on thin ice with her local paper job.  Clark decides that the kryptonite weapons should remain, as a Failsafe, because letting go of his control felt too good.  He asks John Henry Irons to look after those weapons.

Edge sat in his cell, remembering his nasty father, then he went all Blue Light and broke out.  The kryptonite cell couldn't hold him.

buntz: Why is Joe wearing that hat at the wedding thing???

He's hiding his shame over his adopted son marrying his daughter, who he raised together as siblings for a second time.

It's a power that you or I could have in the real world and never realize it since there are no "advanced humans" to reproduce the powers of.

Imagine a cross-universe super-team consisting of Rogue, Paragon (one-shot 90s DC villain [created by Dwayne McDuffie, IIRC] who could copy and improve on the powers and skills of whoever he was fighting), Protégé (Marvel cosmic child-emperor-villain who could "learn" any power permanently by watching it in use one time ― this included cosmic beings such as Galactus, Order, Chaos, etc. [finally taken down by the Living Tribunal, IIRC]), Mimic, the quirk-copying guy from My Hero Academia whose name I'm blanking on, Kakashi (Naruto copy ninja), Peter Petrelli, the Absorbing Man, AMAZO, the Super-Adaptoid, etc.

And together they'd be: ⇒ TEAM XEROX!!

/CJ, you know people who weren't watching TV commercials in the 80s−90s aren't gonna get that reference,
//Triplicate Girl, Multiple Man, Multiplex, and Naruto with his shadow clones, are all saying, "Hey, wouldn't that joke be more appropriate for a team of us!?

When Lois and Superman sound emotionally broken, you KNOW the Kryptonian shiat has hit the fan.

Honestly, I cannot praise the cast of this series enough. They do a lot of heavy lifting to make the scripts work.

"We need to tell people the truth.":
Is she advocating telling at least the people of Smallville her hubby's secret identity?

I think it'd be cool if it were revealed that the older citizens, who were adults when young Clark was growing up there, already knew, and Silver-Age-comic-book-Pete-Ross-style kept that fact even from Clark and the Kents.

I've been wondering that.  There's a tiny bit in the trailer where the Cushings pull back... as if they were just told something?

I also have a nasty suspicion that if Lois and Clark are feeling that much despair, that Edge is going to kidnap the boys as hostages.
