As an early 90's hypersexual raver, extreme athelete (surf/snow/skate/mountain bike, as was the style at the time) and strip club DJ- of COURSE I wish there was video!

/just nobody can ever see it, that's all

I mostly wish there were more pictures (and video) of relatives who are no longer with us.

I would love to have a recording of one of my grandmothers telling the absolutely ridiculous story of the first time she made pizza. (recipe was from the cook on my grandfather's boat in the Navy, it was a large recipe, she knew *nothing* about cooking and didn't realize the amounts were for a huge batch, cleared out multiple stores of yeast etc., ended up with dough that just expanded and expanded and expanded...)

The epic, ear-shattering fart that I executed against the hard wooden church pew right in the middle of the pastor's sermon, when I was almost 8 years old.

I got my old college photo album scanned and realized I had no pictures of the one apartment where we spent most of our time in sophomore year. Whenever I talk to my friends from back then, that's mostly the time and place we talk about.

That one time I dropped that thing, but managed to swoop down and grab it before it hit the ground.  That was epic.

I did that at age 6 on those big hollow plastic bench seats at McDonalds. A guy sitting at the other end fell on the floor laughing and then the entire store erupted in laughter.

I was too cheap/poor to buy film, so I have very few pictures of my life between age 8 and 25.

I'd love to have a few more photos from then.  I tell people I had long red hair, but since it all turned grey/turned loose no one would believe me now.

The time I was biking cross-campus to a class, and the front wheel hit a crack in the sidewalk, badly. I pitched right over the handlebars... and did a perfect shoulder-roll and came up standing. A girl nearby stared with her jaw open, and clapped. I took a bow, got back on the bike, and headed off to class.

We have about a hundred Super 8 home movie reels kicking around a box from my childhood in the 60s.  My dad was also into the VCR format recording beast in the 80s, but we were all old enough to scatter when he decided to capture some "do something funny!" moments.

These days, he's very bitter that "kids these days, would rather look through a smart phone lens, rather than living in the moment!"

I recently digitized all the negatives I still have from when I was younger.  I'm missing a few rolls, sadly.  I KNOW there existed a shot of our cat wearing my spiked collar, and a have a good picture of a friend that's missing the negative.  Photos are spotty from age 12-23ish, then I have backups of all my digital stuff and digitized film (shot 50ish rolls last year).

People probably wouldn't believe I was blonde when I was little.  I have pretty much no pictures from age 3-18 other than school photos, little league, and one or two random vacations.

What I wish I had?  Pictures of old friends.  Pictures of family members who are no longer around.  Better photo skills before age 32ish.  More photos of my mother and her husband before he passed.  I love her smile in the shots I did get of them.

My dad tells people he was 6' tall with a full head of hair. While the 6' part is laughable (he's 5'8") he did have a full on afro in the early 80's.

The 10,000 mile, six-week road trip in '78.  No photos, no videos, nothing but memories.
And maybe that for the best.  "The older I get, the better I was."

Back in the day, before fireworks were watered down and Jumping Jacks actually lasted longer than a second, I lit off an entire brick of them at once. A single package was maybe 12 jumping jacks tied together and the entire brick contained maybe a hundred packs. Hundreds of jumping jacks.

It was the middle of winter and snowing and I'm carrying around this brick of fireworks that I'd been saving(like you do) while me and a couple buddies were wandering around this college campus. We were maybe 13 years old at the time. The campus was deserted so I found a clear spot, set down the brick of jumping jacks, pulled the long fuse out, lit it, and we took cover behind the pillars of a nearby building.

Hooooleeee sh*t! We waited and then suddenly it exploded like a star being born. For about 30 seconds or so there was a flurry of these spinning, whirling colorful balls of light buzzing around bouncing ten or twelve feet in the air. Those things went EVERYWHERE bouncing around in this glorious explosion of light and sound. It was chaos! Afterwards we surveyed the scene in awe while the smoke filled air slowly dissipated.

And then we decided it was too f*cking cold to be walking around in the growing blizzard and trudged back home.

Saved a kid in the early 90's that was playing on some rocks and fell into some pretty swift rapids.  Me and my buddies were on different rocks just hanging out and heard the screaming.  I was a college swimmer and was a lifeguard through HS so I just went in after him.

One person said it was "the coolest thing she'd ever seen"

/Yes I know it was incredibly stupid but it worked out.

I wish I had videos of my late father in law when he was teaching me to play guitar.  He was incredibly patient but I wouldn't appreciate a lot of what he was trying to teach me until I was much older.  I've been playing a lot more over the last year or so and I really wish I could ask him for help on some things or just sit down and jam again.

Little league baseball in the early 70's. We were behind by two and two men (boys) on. Bottom of the ninth. The Team sponsor was in attendance.

Yes, I connected a good solid hit that went over the head of the Center Fielder. He had to run for it. There was no fence so it rolled quite a bit. He grabbed and threw as I rounded third. But the throw was short and I scored.

We win. I was literally carried on their shoulders like they do in the movies. Ice cream was had by all.

In May of 1994 I had the opportunity to visit Normandy as part of a Scouting trip. We basically spent time on Omaha Beach with trash bags in preparation for the big events in June.

When I left the house near Ramstein, I totally forgot to grab my camera. And never even thought to look for a disposable anywhere once I got there.

So my only memories of the event are in my mind.

I still remember being at the American Military Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer for a memorial service and dueling bugles playing taps. Such a haunting sound.

That time a deer jumped over my hood, i was driving 65 mph and it peed a little. I swear it missed me by microns.

That time I tried to flag down a car at 3 a.m. and Mr. DUI almost ran me over.

That time I got 12 kills in World of Tanks. MOM GRAB THE CAMERA! *vuvuzelaaaaaaa*

I was walking to work in downtown Boston and ripped a fart so loud that several people at both ends of the block turned to look.  And this was during rush hour right beside Beacon St.  That was 2010, though so there's probably a video of it somewhere.

We did alot of Jackass style stunts before Jackass was a thing as bored teenage boys tend to do. One in particular I remember was shooting paintballs at each other at short range and without a shirt on.

I wish I had pictures or video of my high school garage band days. We had such a blast but we didn't film, record or photograph any of it. I just have to rely on my increasingly faulty memory to remember those times. I'm sure if recordings existed we would be nowhere near as awesome as we are in my remembrances.
