Why add a splash of vodak? All you are doing is diluting the vodak...

I still don't understand the whole seltzer craze. It tastes worse than bad beer, with less alcohol content. I've tried 3 or 4 brands, and flavors that I *should* like, based on my personal preferences, and it ended at a single sip every single time.

What is good about any of these things?

I've been doing the fruit-flavored bubbly water + black rum(not spiced, and not clear) for years and years.

The little bit of sweet from the molasses in the rum makes the drink, and usually makes the flavors pop-- especially citrus flavors.

They're tasty and refreshing and have similar alcohol content to the macrobrews (more than the lights/lites, just less than the regular.

/Truly are my preferred ones
//they do mix well, although usually I'll just mix a regular flavored seltzer and rum
///I like eating bread, not drinking it

They're a decidedly flavor than beer so I get why people like them. A lot of people want their convenient alcohol fix from a can but don't like the taste of beer. And a handful of the ones I've seen are in the 5-6% range.

I don't really care for them. I have seen vodka/seltzers in a can so those may be a bit better.

Not tasty, not refreshing, in my experience. Every single sip I took made my mouth taste like sand, and spiked my blood sugar.

A good friend swears by them while he's golfing, but I don't golf because....I don't have money.

Yet you can afford OhFark.  For $25 you could buy half a bag of tees and two waterlogged range balls

The equipment isn't the expensive part, it's the greens fees.

As for the seltzer nonsense, there are wheat beers w/ a little fruit that are a billion times better than the "booze for children" craze. If you want to be sophisticated on a budget, you make sangria w/ the cheapest wine you can stomach.

Maybe they're going for a reverse Jolt thing: half the alcohol, and none of the flavor

*shrug* depends I guess.  I play a really good course for 27 bucks (walking) on weekends or a PGA Tour course for 44 bucks (walking) during the week.

Just drink plain farking seltzer. Stop ruining it with shiatty chemical flavorings and grain alcohol. A splash or wedge of lemon or lime is acceptable, nothing else

/been drinking plain seltzer since I was a child
//got called an old man then for it

Subby the real problem is being stupid enough to waste money on seltzer to begin with

Gonna start posting this in every hard seltzer thread.

Don't like hard seltzer and can't figure out why it exists? Well you can stop worrying your pretty, little head: not everything is tailor made to be sold to you exclusively. Lots of other people who are not you have money to spend and they just happen to really like hard seltzer.

I'm glad to see they took that picture outside.  You never want that much glitter inside.

The first time I saw that logo I thought it said White Clam and I've never been able to unsee it.
