If one of them is "mix milk and cream" I'm going to throw a chair.

*reads*

Okay, three of them were "mix milk and cream."  BRB, getting more chairs.

If you need half and half but don't have half and half, what are the odds that you just happen to have the requisite cream and milk to make your own farking half and half?

If you couldn't be bothered to remember to pick it up when you went shopping before and can't be bothered now to quickly pick some up or ask your neighbors for some, do you really need it?

I think that's the first time I saw the √ symbol in a headline.

I like math, but let it be the last time.

That's actually one substitute for half-n-half and three ways to make it yourself.

pffft is your own fault for non-DNRTFA.

also-also, I keep full-fat dry powder t'hand at all times en mi cucina. saves the trouble of pesky excess liquid getting in the way of that delicious fat+protein. plus iced lattes in the cocktail shaker are a breeze...

I think that converges to whole milk in the limit, thus solving Zeno's paradox.

I stopped reading when they mentioned skim milk. Skim milk is a tool of the devil AND the conspiracy. Now if you'll exuse me I have a 50% off coupon for tin foil that I can use to make nifty hats.

The only acceptable substitutes are:

1) The unopened carton of 1/2 & 1/2
2) Heavy cream

silicone is not in the article.  Seems like it would make your coffee kinda chewy.
