Every time I hear they passed laws requiring lying to women about their health, I wonder how the doctors go along with this shiat.

Can we induce an abortion of Republican Rep. Kyle Koehler (R-Springfield) ?

I wish the FDA would hurry the fark up and issue actual approval of the vaccines and take away this brain-dead talking point.

You've got a sample size in the hundreds of millions in the US alone.

To be fair, though, even FDA approval will simply be met with moving the goalposts to something equally stupid by these shiatcanoes, like "Well, NOW we can't take it without the Bob Jones University Department of Biblical Microbiology doing full tests on the vaccine's not making Jesus cry harder than gheys!"

Isn't this the same state that keeps trying to make aborting an ectopic pregnancy illegal because they are convinced it can be shoved into a uterus and turned into a healthy fetus through surgery?

Their words are meaningless. They know one side plays by rules so they apply rules for those interactions. Then they go right back to doing whatever they want. We need to stop listening to their fake objections over things and just mock them.

I think so, yes. I seem to remember leaving them voice mail explaining that I survived fallopian tube rupture and they're unknowingly going to force uteri owners into life saving hysterectomy.

/Wasn't ectopic pregnant
//But fallopian tube kaboom is serious AF

That's why abortion absolutely must remain legal and available. Not only do tubes go boom and ectopic pregnancy exist, there are many other things that can threaten the life of the mother that makes the pregnancy non-viable.

/ pregnancy is the most dangerous thing a woman can do.

I read somewhere that the last hurdle to approval isn't safety or anything, it's data about its long-term efficacy. If that's true, time is the only thing that will get us there.

Yeah. That sort of dawned on me after I hit add.

More generally speaking, you can't take their reasoning and justification seriously from a logical perspective. Their threat is real and unavoidable.

FDA approves a non-working, even dangerous alzheimer drug : all good.

FDA doesnt approve a life saving vaccine tested on hundreds of millions of people worldwide : all good.

Many people have sincerely held religious or philosophical convictions against lying. Isn't there a law that says they can't be forced to? Perhaps an act that claims to be about restoring religious freedom?

My Uncle on Facebook says that the vaccine can give you butt herpes and his opinion is more valid than the FDA's.  I mean, he predicted the Buccs would win the Super Bowl when there was still 30 seconds left in the game.  The FDA?  Thought so.

iheartscotch: / pregnancy is the most dangerous thing a woman can do.

I recall filling out some medical leave forms for my employer when my wife had given birth so I could be at home.

One of the questions asks if the family member has suffered an injury or illness

I didn't know which one to put.  My wife said injury as labor is a very physical damaging act to certain body parts.  I argued an illness as she has had an infectious parasite living and growing in her for the past 9 months and had to take medicine to get it out (two weeks past due date).

We went with injury but I still think there was a case for illness.

The good ones follow the letter of the law and not the spirit.

"As required by law, there are pamphlets available from the receptionist about the dangers of this procedure. You are free to take as many as you would like. However, if you'd like additional information that is not listed in the pamphlets and explained by me, now is the time to ask questions."

I think we should pass a law that requires doctors to whisper "we farking told you so" into the ears of every unvaccinated person who gets hospitalized for COVID. You know, because patients should be informed about their decisions.

A fortnight back, I had a call from the VA, a poll about my meds. Question: " Do you 5ake any street substances such a marijuana?" I pointed out that in CA, where I live and am treated by the BA, pot is legal & sold in licensed businesses with buildings, but I am not allowed to discuss it with my VA medical team nor are they allowed to discuss pot with me because if the difference between State & Federal laws. Stupid.

They already submitted all that though.  All they have to do is go through it.  There's 3 basic things you have to prove for the BLA: Safety (a couple billion shots or so around the world has proven that it is safe), long-term efficiency (6 months minimum.  And that's not too terribly important, in a worst case scenario, you have boosters, but they still need to know), and manufacturing capability that you can produce it effectively and consistently.  Safety and short-term efficiency were important for the EUA.  Pfizer has already shown they're amazing at production.  So this should be one of the easiest full approvals they've ever done.

Deadline is approx the end of the year, but it'll be approved by September.  100% guaranteed.

/And no, they will not rush it because of a few idiots who use that as an excuse to not get vaccinated.
