I am a little concerned on how they're going to make 5'4" Tatiana Maslany bulked up to Shulkie's 6'7". I mean, yeah a LOT of forced perspective gags, but it's going to be an interesting challenge.

Mocap and sophisticated CGI.  Stuff like that's easy if you have the money and the know how.  They already do it with Mark Ruffalo (who is 5'8") so it's not like that don't have plenty of experience

I'm a little worried about her doing the fight training, though. She had a serious back injury a while back.

But, should she fall, I will catch her. Ooooh, I'll be waiting

Most of his scenes are opposite RDJ who's 5'5 or Johansen who's 5'1.

And she's playing Titania, who was pretty bulky in the comics. Is she getting the CGI treatment, too?

Hopefully she will do some bulking up. Using cgi for people always looks bad and Titania should be seriously muscular. I mean that's kind of her thing. I'm not talking body builder but at least try for T2 Linda Hamilton.

He wasn't just Bruce Banner.   He also did the motion capture for the Hulk (who is officially listed at 8'2" according to MCU sources).

Said it before, will exapnd:

She could have played all the characters at the conclusion of "Endgame".

She could still play all the multiverses in the next Dr. Strange movie.

I liked her on The Good Place but then I started following her on Instagram and it was all social justice warrior.
Which is fine, not begrudging her that, but since there was nothing about her or her upcoming work, it became a bit much.

Then, I also found it interesting that she went on to host The Misery Index, which is basically mocking people, when she is so much the SJW online!

Oh, is that not allowed?  Is that offensive now?  Didn't know that!  Shrug!
Again, I like her, and I said I didn't begrudge her standing up for people (she's a big LGBTQ+ supporter), I just found it odd she hosts the Misery Index which, by definition, is mocking people!

Not so much offensive as, say, sociopathy signaling.

In a perfect world, we'd be seeing some sort of inspired casting in this like Doc Samson played by The Rock or something, but even with all of that I'm excited. This looks like it's going to be a good time.

Bit rusty on my mythology, but wasn't it King Minos's wife that Zeus farked in the guise of a bull that resulted in the Minotaur, the name coming from Minos and bull I guess?

Never understood where the word Centaur came from, it doesn't seem to flow from any roots I know of.

For Minotaur, Minoscame into posession of a white bull that was super special for some reason or another (don't remember the specific details). He got all arrogant about it, so the gods got his wife to fark the bull. She had a half human half bull son, who got tossed in the labyrinth to keep him where he wouldn't be embarassing or violent. "Minotaur" means "bull of Minos", and was basically to make fun of him for the whole deal.

Centaur's unclear. Apparently it was the name for a "savage" horse riding tribe, that then developed from angry dudes riding horses into angry dudes who were half horse. The name could've been the greek analogue of an actual tribe's name. Could've been cent+taur (hundred bulls) if they were known for herding bulls. Nobody really knows for sure. Might or might not be bull related.

The bull was special because it was *all* white, like pristine.

That was king Minos's mother, Europa, who Zeus turned himself into a bull to fark.

Then, some time later, King Minos's wife farked a different bull sent by Poseidon. She then gave birth to the Minotaur.

If I had a drachm for every time a Minoan queen farked a bull I'd have two drachm, but still, it's weird that it happened twice.

Yeah. I'm prepared to say that literally no one uses that series of letters who doesn't have a specific agenda, no matter what disclaimer they try to follow it with. It's like "MSM". There's an inherent point of view in actually accepting it as a valid piece of language.

It wouldn't be too much of a stretch for the Egyptian Apis Bull to go all white, since pure white bulls were pretty rare. See also white buffalo in North American mythology.
