Actually, the legalization of weed may help some red states as they have fields to grow it on.

On a side note, is there reason we cannot come up with a trade agreement with Cuba and a few other places for food and other subsidies.  I was disappointed in Dubya and Obama both for not seeking some avenue to help the populace.  Trump really trashed the US as an honorable deal-maker so I don't know.

Idk if they would partake because of the outdated Federal baloney (that's killing job mobility btw).

But, for airplane rides, I suggest a topical. It'll keep your body stoned without effecting your mind. (Novice/Medicinal)

For all day running around an ejoint or mints.

Topicals don't work if you're not in pain.
If you are in pain, like having a wide swath of skin ruined for a few years due to injury like I did, topicals were the only thing that made another day bearable.

Depends on how this plays out. If it buys enough time for the US congress to get its shiat together and pass the related voting rights bills, it's worth it. Not too optimistic about that.

The national filibuster should be this extreme. They should have to go into exile to prevent a law from being passed instead of just indicating they want to filibuster and it not requiring any sort of time or effort cost. If it's worth it, you put yourself out there.

In DC, it's legal to possess, gift, and grow, but for the past seven years Republicans in Congress, using budget riders, have been preventing the city council from legalizing taxed sales; more upsettingly, Biden is continuing that Republican tradition through his proposed budget to Congress.

Wu is trolling his state's law enforcement after the Republicans in Texas voted to arrest the lawmakers when they return

That's kind of missing the point on steriods.  The Republicans can't vote anything since the Democrats are needed for a quorum.   The state law enforcement isn't the Sergeant at Arms.   This   KATELYN CARALLE must be aware that Lord Protector Cromwell didn't really walk to America from England and take military charge of the House.

I didn't really have an opinion before this. Like I said, don't really care about the others who are hiding out and otherwise acting like adults.

Who in their right mind would ever vote for this legislator again? He brings down the entire party with his behaviour. Fewer democrats will be elected in Texas because of this, which is exactly what the law he's protesting would accomplish. Talk about counterproductive...

The GOP is currently a walking, talking, legislating dumpster fire currently engaging in restrictive voting rights measures and talking about personal freedoms while a pandemic is starting to gain strength again in places that they overwhelmingly have control over.

Baiting FOX News is the sort of activity that propaganda outlet so richly deserves and will enjoy feeling entitled to hold up t he legislators posts as the smoking gun that Democrats have gone too far.

Speculating the idea that this is "bad for democracy" is as valid an endeavor as speculating boxers or briefs on Lee Harvey Oswald..

The CIA and the rest of the military-industrial complex has a serious hateboner for Cuba. It's partly for the same reason they hate Iran (because both kicked out 'American-business-friendly' dictators in favor of dictators who were less fond of said businesses), but also because Cuba is the 'one that got away'. See: Bay of Pigs and the decades-long tradition of failing to assassinate Fidel Castro, just for starters.

Of course, the best way to undermine and end both of those regimes would be to normalize relations and get trade going, helping the people and showing them that the leaders' propaganda about America is wrong. But that would be too diplomatic, and a significant chunk of American politicians think diplomacy is for pussies since it doesn't involve billions if not trillions of dollars going into "defense contractors'" pockets blowing shiat up.

Purple_Urkle: The Lord sent the plant to ween our people off of man's devil opioids in this chaotic time of crisis and heal our nation's wounded soul with fellowship and prosperity for all posterity!

Worth bearing in mind He also sent us the plant that we get opium from, too.

Sure, most modern opioids are synthetic, but:

Opioids are among the world's oldest known drugs.[185] The earliest known evidence of Papaver somniferum in a human archaeological site dates to the Neolithic period around 5,700-5,500 BC. Its seeds have been found at Cueva de los Murciélagos in the Iberian Peninsula and La Marmotta in the Italian Peninsula.[186][187][188]

Use of the opium poppy for medical, recreational, and religious purposes can be traced to the 4th century BC, when ideograms on Sumerians clay tablets mention the use of "Hul Gil", a "plant of joy".[189][190][191] Opium was known to the Egyptians, and is mentioned in the Ebers Papyrus as an ingredient in a mixture for the soothing of children,[192][191] and for the treatment of breast abscesses.[193]

Opium was also known to the Greeks.[192] It was valued by Hippocrates (c.460 - c.370 BC) and his students for its sleep-inducing properties, and used for the treatment of pain.[194] The Latin saying "Sedare dolorem opus divinum est", trans. "Alleviating pain is the work of the divine", has been variously ascribed to Hippocrates and to Galen of Pergamum.[195] The medical use of opium is later discussed by Pedanius Dioscorides (c. 40 - 90 AD), a Greek physician serving in the Roman army, in his five-volume work, De Materia Medica.
