As a Wings fan, it'd be nice if she had a lot more of those games in season. Way too often she's going 3/13, 4/18, etc. and the team is basically "if she's near 50% shooting, they win; if not, they lose." And they're 9-12. She's way too Kobe-esque (and is a huge Kobe fan, which explains it).

"I'm going to be like 85, talking to my grandkids, and I'll be like, 'Yeah, back in 2021, we beat the gold-medal team, so technically I won a gold medal,'" Jones said"

The Chiefs beat the Patriots during the 2020 regular season, so I guess technically they're back to back Superbowl champs!

(Liz Cambage apparently is Australian and Jonquel Orthea Jones is a Bahamian-Bosnian, so she'd technically have to resolve that issue with her WNBA all star team so before getting her technical gold medal.)

It's hard to come down too hard on her being a straight-up chucker. She has exactly no help on the wings.  After her break out Sophomore year, teams just focus on her and let the rest of the wings lose the game.

As a side note, I know Arike got the headline, but how good was Jonquel Jones. Love to see it.

They actually do have decent players, though. Not necessarily shot-creators on their own, but Gray, Harrison and Mabrey can drop 20 in a game...but the recent high draft picks are very hit-or-miss, too. KT is solid off the bench.

/Mabrey is very hit-or-miss, too, it's just that when she's "hit" it's been for like 25 points and "miss" it's like 4
//Just want more playmaking for teammates
