It is essentially RT for the GOP. And it always has been. War is peace. Ignorance is strength. Freedom is slavery.

FTA:  "They want to make it so hard and inconvenient that they hope people don't vote at all," Biden said of GOP efforts to roll back voting rights."

Now, where would he get a crazy idea like that?

"Many Blacks didn't go out to vote for Hillary 'cause they liked me. That was almost as good as getting the vote, you know, and it was great," Trump said, according to newly leaked audio obtained by Politico.

Part of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton's loss can be attributed to lower turnout, particularly among Black people, which declined for the first time in 20 years in the 2016 presidential election.

Incidentally, the right to vote is both universal and inherent (inalienable even), except in unusual circumstances such as incarcerated individuals and mentally ill.

They're already well on their way to losing all future elections, that's the whole point of them pushing so hard for voting restrictions.

And no, you shouldn't be okay with a college degree voting restriction.

I hate this screencap.

Because there really were peaceful protests the majority of the day. Then the original protesters go home and the shiat stirrers come out and do what they do best.

Trying to combine the two seems like a disingenuous attempt to discredit Black Lives Matter and the legitimate concerns they have.

It was tongue-in-cheek. I want everyone to have easy access to their right to vote. But it is funny that the more educated people are the more likely they are to be liberal and vote Democratic.

What Walsh forgets or chooses to ignore is that universal suffrage is necessary. The common people may not be known for their wisdom, but even fools can work a guillotine in sufficient numbers. Better to let them register their frustrations in a non-head-choppy manner.

hubiestubert: It is essentially RT for the GOP. And it always has been. War is peace. Ignorance is strength. Freedom is slavery.

War is peace. The threat of nuclear war is why we haven't had another world war. War brought about the end of WWII.

Ignorance is strength. It's why we have propaganda in times of war. If everyone was as smart as all you libs claim to be it would be total chaos. Nobody would be able to just shut up and help get things done. Give me a hundred men not asking questions and I will defeat 10,000 free thinkers.  I think that was Sun Tzu.

Freedom is slavery. Freedom came from things like conscripted armies and Rosy riveters working 16 hours a day for low wages and eating what was rationed.  The men at Valley Forge lived a life a lot closer to slavery than liberals do today - driving their Teslas to Starbucks to create content on an Apple MacBook. Slaves.  I could go on but I think you get my point.

I'm OK with "if we want to say that the right to vote isn't for everyone, then we should start restricting the vote for people who get the majority of their information from disinformation sites and networks.

Have you watched a considerable amount Fox News, OANN, or NewsMax? Are you a member of the various stupid "Facebook isn't pro-Nazi enough for me" social media platforms? Visited any of the various "news" sites founded by Kochs, Tucker Carlson, or other RW morons? Cool, no one needs your opinion on anything.
