This makes me fondly recall Chase Utley being introduced at the Dinger Derby the night before the 2008 All Star Game at Yankee Stadium. The NY crowd booed Utley and a hot mic picked him up saying, "Boo? F*ck you!"

Outstanding!

They were a pretty lame distraction during the game.

Dear Joe,

Every player in MLB is expecting a fastball at the plate, they then try to adjust if they don't get said fastball.  Please find something better to ask rather than, "What pitch are you expecting?".

In fact, just shut up Joe, no one likes you.

Thanks,

America

You know how much this game matters? Players allow themselves to be interviewed DURING THE GAME. That's how much this game matters.

It's this story again.

Mixing the players is almost as dumb as those uniforms. Seriously what is the point? Are we saying baseball is too boring and what we really need is to mix the players... for what? Hoping they'll say something racist so your opposing teams player has to be out in time out?

In all fairness...any baseball player could be interviewed in ANY baseball game they play in.  As they are pretty much pointless.

About the only way the White Sox get any national exposure.

Being a Sox fan, as soon as I heard them say "Hendriks is mic'd up", my first thought was not "he's going to swear" - it was "which swear word will he say first?"

And because he was the only AL non-pitcher to not get an at bat, this was Tim Anderson after the game to Tampa's manager:

Yep. The next few years are going to be awesome if Larussa doesn't f*ck it up.

The players were mixed? You mean that was someone else in Tatis Jr's uniform?
