WTF kind of shack falls down like a MF?

You only have yourself to blame.  Ceiling Cat learned it from watching you.

around 8 o'clock at night when this became the scene.

Wut?

After the ceiling collapsed inside Milkcraft, a popular shop in West Hartford Center where workers use liquid nitrogen to hand-mix cold treats.

We've suffered a collapsed sentence.

Yes, and Ceiling Cat should have worn a jimmy hat.

Authorities say it was a "localized, non-structural collapse of a ceiling assembly." Town officials inspected the scene on Tuesday.

So a "ceiling assembly" is not "structural."  Yeah, I know they mean the entire building collapsing is not a worry, but most people would think of the ceiling as kind of structural.

/also I had three ceilings collapse on me by no fault of me
//think war X2
///think drunken guy above me passing out while filling his waterbed

I've been there. It's a nice place, with pretty good ice cream. Surprising to hear something like this happening there; that area is pretty wealthy and definitely trying to attract tourists. Always seemed like the kind of area that would keep up with the upkeep.

At my old job a lady got the entire campus shut down for like half a day and half a building's worth of staff quarantined claiming someone sprinkled Anthrax on her desk. Turns out construction in another office of the former strip mall caused dust and bits of the ancient drop ceiling tile above her desk to shake loose.

More like asbestos then.

"After the ceiling crashed, I'm like, they're not going to be able to make any more ice cream," said Hope from West Hartford.

Okay, that gave me a chuckle

Joe Biden wouldn't let a ceiling collapse stop him from getting a cone.

Some rich people are rich because they're penny-pinchers.

For once, I get the sense he would waffle on the issue.

Probably, yeah. Still didn't the absurd response. It's not like this was in 2002 or anything, it was like 2011

As a side note, I've had ice cream there that was blue. I would recommend against that, should you visit their other locations.

Whatever food coloring they use was...not digestible. I'll leave it at that.

I expected this to be about asbestos ceiling tiles slowing disintegrating onto the ice cream.  Perhaps this was better?

"sure we can build you a little ceiling for your ice cream shop. I mean we build high-rise condos in Florida so I think we can handle this."

Looking at the photograph it appears that the decorative ceiling was an add-on, supported at the ends and somewhat joined in the center.  What we in the biz would call an "almost self-supporting" amateur effort.

"Two injured in ceiling collapse at Milkcraft ice cream shop"

Ah we've all had that moment when we realized we should have read the latest patch notes where the devs try to sneak in more realism.
