The girl, 15, told authorities that the boy pushed her up against a locker, put his hand down the back of her pants and pulled her thong up above the waistline of her pants, the police report released Wednesday says. The boy also touched the girl's buttocks, the report says.

She told him to stop at least three times and said that the incident was both painful and embarrassing, the report says.

After the assault, according to the report, the boy said, "Now I got some action."

Hopefully the asinine tag was for the boy.

Are you implying that this kid shouldn't have been charged? I'd be the last guy on earth to say that a simple wedgie should lead to a sexual assault charge, but all of the facts are bare and obvious. This kid needs to sit in juvie for a couple months, and find out if he likes those kinds of wedgies as much as she did.

I'll put it this way.

I've been on both the receiving and the donor end of wedgies.

All of them have been to guys whose underwear were sticking out. A quick yank, a laugh, a punch on the shoulder, and that's it.

If I ever heard that some 16 year old punk-ass had wedgied my 15-year-old sister (and yes, I do have one), it would be ME that ends up getting hauled off to prison. They'd probably drop the charges against him while he was eating breakfast through a straw.

I know that there can be a lot of "and then he said" stuff with initial reports, but if what the article says is true, to wit:

The boy told police that since he had dated the girl in the past, he thought it was OK to do what he did."

--then he meant sex assault. Wedgies always seemed like latent behavior to me anyway, but this kid is pretty open about it. "Now I got some action." Juvie's a fine solution, with some therapy.

I don't think he should go to juvie over it, but I do think he should get payback... maybe let the girl kick him in the nuts, or something. Kid sounds like an ass, but I don't think he should be criminally charged, just harshly punished by the school, or something.

Ah yes, of course, it's crsytal now. There has nevere been a bad break up ever in the history of the world, especially amongst emotionally immature high school students. I'm sure that there was no malicious intent what so ever on the part of the boy. In fact all charges against him should be dropped, and she should be charged for entrapment by wearing the thong, and breaking up with him, and for being so damn fine that he just couldn't resist himself. She had it coming, he simply gave it to her.
Grow the fark up and get real. This is crossing gender lines and I'm not the least bit inclined to belive that they were just friends that were joking around if she was willing to file charges. He deserves what he gets.
Sexual asault maybe not, but he did push her up against the locker and put his hand down her pants, so I think it falls into the sexual assault category, but maybe that's me being the voice of reason.

I agree the charge of 4th degree sexual assualt seems ridiculous, but I also agree that anyone who gives another persona a wedgie deserves to be whipped like Jesus. So I really hope they throw the book at him. What a waste of life that kid is.
