The first area is the women's inability to control who can reply, comment on, and engage with their pots.

Pots? I remember when the Internet was not available in the kitchen.

I'll believe it when I see it.

The biggest issue is that in order to effectively moderate you need a ton of human moderators, and technology is the exact opposite of that (doing more with less labor). Think of social networks the size of Facebook. Even if you give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are acting in good faith, there's no farking way they could or would survive if they hired the number and quality of moderators you need. They're going to pull a tech solution that misses as often as it hits and call it a day.

Wait, there are women on the internet who aren't actually neckbearded dudes? Go figure...

To prevent it or to encourage it?   Because the latter brings more engagement.

The people who submit the reports of abuse, and the victims of abuse, will be the ones getting banned under this new policy. The abusers will either be ignored by moderators, or be made moderators themselves.

'Nternet.

What about abuse of democracy?

Between that and going after Q-nuts, you'd have about 10 people left on FB.

You'd hate it too if you were queer and you kept getting thrown in jail for calling out queerphobes while they're queerphobic comments never seem to violate their TOS.

Literally every single queerphobic hate comment I've reported has stayed up, despite Facebook exicitly saying in their TOS that they're a violation. Literally every single one.

*their queerphobic comments.

Being a marginalized person on the internet sucks. People hurling slurs at you is fine, but retaliating is "bullying." It's like middle school all over again.

Yeah, so maybe this companies shouldn't exist.

Or at least not that big, which is why I suspect they haven't made that case.

I don't think that they should exist at all, although that isn't the same thing as saying they should be legally barred from existing.

Gosh, you're old and not up on the modern lingo.

Obviously "pots" is referring to their bazoongas!

If they actually did this, it would break the internet. Facebook was invented as a tool for misogyny. Take the abuse of women out of the internet and all you have left is cat pictures. * squeaky saloon door blows in the breeze -- a tumbleweed rolls by *

Can you imagine if 4channers had access to your social media accounts? Well... facebook and twitter are mostly staffed by incel 4channers. Sleep tight.
