We have passed legislation, and we are doing a forensic audit already. So, I think this is one of those cases where the president was just misinformed by his staff, or he didn't see the media reports.

Even if his staff did try to correctly inform him, he'd ignore it.

He wasn't misinformed. He was lying and using lying to stir up shiat. See: Propaganda, disinformation, FUD.

But I thought Donald hires only the best people?

"Wisconsin GOP to be replaced by Trump loyalists with next election" would've been the headline I went with, but that's just me.

The Big Lie is simply a pretext for the GOP to restrict voting at the state level.  They all know that the Big Lie is a lie.

2021-06-28 8:06:26 AM
The WI GQP is absolutely pushing the Big Lie and are just saying trump is misinformed that they aren't. They aren't saying he's wrong.

In addition to my Trump socks, I will pull up my Trump/Pence mask when I board the plane, as required by federal law.

We all have to wear Trxmp socks and face masks now on airplanes now?

So... Trump was wrong but he wasn't wrong himself personally?

He was "misinformed" by a staffer?

Overzealous staffer?
That's what they are going with?
Really?
Really really?

Of all the terrible face saving lies ever told... that was certainly one of them.

He knows he lost, he just doesn't have anything else to work with: dude was a one term president and the most unpopular president since the Confederate compromiser Andrew J. Hell, Nixon was more popular. In america, being a one term president who loses his incumbent election is about as clear cut a case of being a loser ad it gets. And Trump hates being that loser.

Yes, President Andrew J. Hell was certainly unpopular.

Yep.  He thinks if he keeps repeating the same lie over and over that others will follow suit.

I almost fixed it but now I'm glad I didnt

"I think this is one of those cases where the president was just misinformed by his staff"

He doesn't listen to anyone unless they say what he wants to hear. So his staff just repeats his own bullshiat back to him.

Interesting to see what happens. Trump cares about nothing but revenge so he just wants to primary the GOP congresspeople that voted to impeach him the second time. I don't know what their districts are like but would guess they might not be dark red. If Trump farks it for the gop again that will be it for him.  Why people would want to give Republicans back anything two years after 600,000 dead a crashed economy and an attempt to overthrow the government is beyond me though.

And you bought into it, which is why he'll go from state to state, on a constant stirring up shiat tour.  And I'm on your side....

"The Wisconsin GOP convention kicks off magnificently with a public battle between Trump and Robin Vos about whether they're sufficiently loyal to the Big Lie, which is a great summary of what the Republican Party stands for in 2021."

This guy gets it.

Their internal polling must be bad for them to say this.

Weekend at Bernie's really has overstayed its run.  Someone (or a group) was acting in Trump's name most of the last year as his diminished mentality went even further.  Who knows if he's alive.

Who would doubt that mirrors were banned from the White House, so no one could see his breath.  His medical care was a joke, making even the esteemed doctors at Walter Reed/Bethesda into clowns.

Slightly more unpopular than President Weedlord Bonerhitler

Ousting Robin Vos wouldn't be the worst thing to happen to Wisconsin. Unless, they put someone even worse in his place, which they would.

He is not lying
He is not delusional

Trump knows he won the same way you know the Earth is round. For Trump there can not be any other explanation other than fraud.

"I Won" will be carved on his headstone.

Because Donald Trump is not a whole person.

Context: the "misinformed" quote is from a Wisconsin GOP politician who wants to assure the president that WI GOP is still looking for evidence of fraud, after Trump attacked him by name.

Yeah my understanding is Vos is untouchable at least in the legislature. This is their convention and has no real world effects. Remember they were mad at Kemp and the best they could find to primary him was farking Vernon Jones.

He is not wrong. He just seems to have an extreme overestimate on how many people will follow along.

I will not be voting for any Republican in my lifetime, on the basis they were 'misinformed' enough to smear shiat and wave the Confederate flag in the US Capitol.

T45** doesn't understand how elections work.

He thinks that since he got more votes then in his only other election, that's all it takes. He deserves to still be president.

He just can't understand second place.

They thought the same thing about house speaker Mike Madigan in Illinois. Everyone is replaceable.

Only person pushing out Boss Vos is someone else crazier in his district.  He brings home too much state money for that to happen in the near future.

Maybe he just needs a new perspective.  After all, "second place" IS "first place" amongst the losers.

Except that this a convention with no biding authority. He is speaker through 2022.

Trump didn't see media reports. Trump. the guy who needed 16 hours of executive time every day to watch "news" of himself. who couldn't be bothered with a briefing longer than one page, and then only if there were pictures and repeated mentions of his name. that guy didn't see the reports. riiiiiiiiiight.

or was he just misinformed by an overzealous unpaid intern and/or his mushroom staff?

This. They didn't say Trump was misinformed about the election, they said he was misinformed about WI GOP efforts to overturn the results after Trump accused them of not trying hard enough

Did WI go to Trump in 2020? No. That's why Tramp is pissy and mad at WI officials, and he'll stay mad until they can change the past.

/die mad, Trampy

Kind of like Dubya Bush being "informed" about WMDs in Iraq.  He was told by "top men" that they had none.  Then he was told by "middle men" that they had none.  Finally he found some "bottom men" that would tell him what he wanted to hear.  And thus the lie of two decades ago was started.

King Aethered the Unready's* actual nickname (during his time anyway) was "unrede" which meant uncounseled or uninformed.  This was a play on words as him name meant "divine counsel".  Kind of like being known as "Sherlock the clueless".

/* either he or his son, Edward the Confessor, has the title of worst King of England
// However bad it looked like when we elected Trump, when he put morons in the cabinet we were screwed.
/// I'm not sure that Dubya was any smarter.  But his cabinet, however clownshoes, was miles ahead of Trumps.

Every second, every minute, every hour, every day, 45** knows, deep down in his fat-encrusted black little heart that he's a loser. And that knowledge makes every waking moment of his life a torment of misery.

This thought makes me immesurably happy.

Lexx0001: T45** doesn't understand how elections work.

He's used to being able to always getting his way. He has lawyers and accountants fudge things for him every day. He expects everyone around him to violate the law for him.

He thought he could talk the Secretary of Dtate of Georgia to fudge 13,000 votes as easily as he could fudge his taxes, run out on a bill or wildly exaggerate his wealth. And if he gets any grief just sue. The biggest, meanest lawyer wins.
