With the changes we are making today, we're hoping to see character-specific Anointments become meta, rewarding players for building into their character tree and Action Skills even more so than before.

Yeah and Moze still has some of the crappiest Anoints around. Pass

It's weird, I put hundreds of hours into multiple characters across 3 platforms with BL2 but the footage I've watched of 3 just doesn't hook me.
Looks like fans are being treated pretty well with this update, maybe I'll consider treating myself if it goes on sale sometime.

Does Randy still think animal cruelty is funny?

I have B3 and got up to level ten or so with all of the characters but none of them clicked with me. I absolutely loved B1 and it remains one of the best pure fun games I've ever played. B2 was good as well, I loved the Dungeons and Dragons DLC with Tiny Tina. Not sure why, just couldn't really get into B3 probably because I couldn't find a character I liked to play with.

Gotta get back to BL3. I'm playing the Bounty of Blood DLC and got hung up on the Quartermaster boss.

Likely because everything in 3 is written like crap including the characters, but I also had a hard time finding anything I liked mechanics-wise this time.

BL2 Maya is my favorite of all the PC. Maybe not the most powerful but the most fun. BL3 Amara just doesn't quite get there.

The problem with BL3 is fundamentally about the writing. The villains are not compelling, the NCPs act foolishly to support a less than interesting plot. The game play, however, the company nailed. However, the replay value sags because you want to turn the voices so you don't have to listen to the plot.

Also, there are fewer rewards for after game. The Cult of the Vault quests and in-map achievements nudged you to more and more exploration in BL2. Also, BL2 was out and out funnier.

I like BL3 & finished the main story with the beastmaster & operative.   While the story is lacking the gameplay & worlds were fun

There were some twists in the plot but overall the main villains were more annoying than anything else.   Plus the final boss fight on the storyline was way too easy.

Doing a play thru right now with my 16 yr old who never played the 1st games & they like it.

I know I finished BL3 and whatever DLCs were out, but I'm drawing a blank on most of it.  I think the bad guys were social media influencers, because that's trendy.

BL3 just felt like a grind.  I figured if I kept at it things would improve.  Next thing I knew I'd beat the final boss and the only missions left were even grindy "we're just gonna throw enemies at you until you give up".

Oh well, I still have fond memories of the first 3 games.

I do an all elemental build with Maya.  No end cap ability until max level territory but the DOT is so insane you don't miss it.

PS4/5 crossplay, boo?

I prefer to play alone.
