It doesn't matter what *you* name them.  Other kids will find a way to make fun of it.

I swear to God, Harry leaving the royals was the smartest decision of his life. What a toxic environment.

A spokesperson for the Sussexes declined to comment on the report, the Telegraph said.

LOL - now they don't want to comment.

Look - they decided a career as a Royal wasn't for him, or her.  Cool.  Not everyone wants to be a professional charity speech-maker or factory-opener or tree-planter.  They decided to follow her career path instead, which is about fame.  Also cool, whatever they want.  But if they are so pissed off at the royal system and find it abusive, if they're living on his inheritance from Diana, as he said, why do they keep the title?  Because they need that association with and fight with the Royals to keep their names in the headlines.  I guarantee you, if they stopped talking about how awful it is being royal and gave up the title and juts did their own thing with their charity, no one would give a shiat.

They're now professional anti-royals, intent on fame on the tabloids and whining about their fame in the tabloids.  It's getting annoying.

/How long until his brain fires one tiny spark and decides his dick made a mistake in choosing her?

I very much doubt that. The tabloids decided they hated her years ago, and churned out endless daily hate even when they were silent.

Them speaking out or not has zero impact of the British tabloid bile.

Why are they continually appearing in tabloids and gossip rags that I read!?  This is all their fault!

Archie -> your parents screwed it up for you.

Did I do that right?

I wasn't thinking Britain, actually, I was thinking the US.  Where they want to be famous.  Where hating on royalty is a fine tradition going back 245 years and has been raised to an art form.

Benevolent Misanthrope:

Actually, she'll probably break it off just after their 10th anniversary, because that's considered a long term marriage and that way she can get spousal  AND child support under California law.

There was a reason she wanted to get out of Canada and give birth to her kids on American soil.

//Make no mistake, the Royal Family, the British tabloids and Pier Morgan are really racist and are completely biased and horrible to her.  But she's not exactly Saint Megan, either.
//Maybe she really does love him, but, c'mon, she married him in some part for his fame and money.
//Not really sure why some people are impressed by her.  She basically got really famous by marrying a rich guy.

Don't forget her briefcase model phase.  That was very successful.  She worked with Howie Mandel.  Howie Mandel, people.

As I said - nothing wrong in pursuing a career of fame.  Nothing wrong in deciding a career as a Royal isn't for you.  But Harry has spent a great deal of time demonstrating that he is constitutionally incapable of thinking with anything other than his dick, so I'm certain she's the brains of the outfit.  I can see your scenario playing out very easily.

Just gonna copy and paste my post from the previous thread:

Here's the thing.  I know we've all decided that Meghan is the hero of the piece.  And I've always been in the camp that doesn't care about royalty tales.  But my mother and grandmother love this stuff, and I somehow encountered this bit of "news":

Money quote: Harry said that what stopped his wife from giving in to suicidal thoughts was how "unfair" it would be to him after the death of his mum Princess Diana in 1997.
"The thing that stopped her from seeing it through was how unfair it would be on me after everything that had happened to my mum and to now be put in a position of losing another woman in my life, with a baby inside of her, our baby," he said.

That is a narcissistic personality and a master manipulator.  If this person is in your life, you need to run and, if at all possible, hide.

I don't think she's the hero, for one.  I think she's making a career move, and he's a dumbass.  A good-natured and mostly harmless dumbass, but a dumbass.  Harry's mistake was to let his dick make his decision, and to get involved with that kind of manipulator.  She's good at the victim thing, and I can see a marked difference in his attitude, too.  She's training him to take that tack as well.

I think kermit is right - 10 years and community property and she's gone with another tale of how awful it was being married to him and how she bravely held on as long as she could.
