Whew, good thing only Fox Business is doing that.  Can you imagine if stories about "rando says something on Twitter" became a thing?

"Wait, what do you mean no one wants to buy my trillions of cryptocurrency?  But... but... they have to!  Otherwise, it's all just worthless!"

... as the ghost of Adam Smith laughs in the background.

Once again, the conservative, sandwich-heavy portfolio pays off for the hungry investor.

I thought it was that new cryptocurrency where each one is worth like $0.00.000001, so you can buy a billion of them for 10 bucks.

I've never read a story about someone who got rich on crypto who didn't go broke some months later.

I'll stick with the $46 in my wallet, thank you.

The thing is, TFA isn't even about a guy who got rich on crypto.

It's about a Coinbase software error that somehow made the guy's account read a trillion dollars after he invested just $20. They froze the account and are looking into the error.

So why the fark does FOX promote this story as if the guy woke up a trillionaire??

The next FOX headline may as well be about me simultaneously bedding Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and the entire Kardashian family, just because I took $20 worth of medication and had some wet dreams.

FOX BUSINESS BREAKING NEWS: Man takes $20 pain meds, has orgy with dozens of pop icons!

/ The REAL story is about Coinbase software errors, bit it is barely mentioned in the article

My bank once made a decimal point error for a deposit, giving me 100k instead of 1k. They fixed it by the next day. Why didn't anyone report it on national news?

Isn't it obvious? The price briefly dropped to $0 while he made his transaction allowing him to buy a near infinite (♾) amount of coins. The value then went back up to a fraction of a penny and suddenly he's a trillionaire.

/not serious
