I thought they did that like 20 years ago?

Don't they sell more "PINK" stuff than actual lingerie?

I saw something about that that gave me a chuckle.  They're going from eye candy to eye broccoli.

This. I think that it's "empowering" to show off your sexy body if you want to.

In its history, Victoria's Secret was a clothing company ostensibly for Women, but really for Men.  It appears that the current company no longer believes that market segment profitable and will now pivot.

Meh, there are still plenty of companies that are willing to appeal to my male gaze.  I'll quietly continue to support them instead.

I'll believe it when they stop lying to women about their bra sizes, stop trying to stuff customers into the sizes they carry, and start making bras with a <30 band and >DD cup.

Company changes advertising in order to better appeal to audience its marketing research tells them to.

News at 11.

I love the Angels and the old marketing appealed to ME, but I haven't made a purchase at Victoria's Secret in a few decades, so what do I know?  (Perfume for a girlfriend if you must know.)

It's a good thing the government finally repealed the law that forced women to shop there.

Maybe the 2nd owner? I heard from Sean Parker that the founder of VS tossed himself off the Golden Gate bridge. Poor guy just wanted to buy his wife a pair of thigh-highs.

Like most of what they make, this business plan will end up on my bedroom floor.  Sometimes also kitchen.

Yeah article writer must have missed the boat about slooting it up being empowering since about 1960

So, by empowering they're going to be competing with Lane Bryant and Torrid now?

You do of course realize that "Lane Bryant" is an anagram of "YR BENT ANAL", right?
