Ah, point guard is an unimportant position in Duck on The Rock.

Suns are cursed, I swear.

I love that his nickname has morphed from "CP3" to "CP3 to 6 weeks"

Why exactly isn't he vaccinated?

Gubbo: Why exactly isn't he vaccinated?

He is. You can still get it after vaccination. A bunch of Yankee players got it a few weeks ago. Didn't Lebron also get it?

I'm wondering how truthful people are being with their vaccine claims.

But if vaccinated, it should be a very mild case so there's that.

Same and I hope so.

Can't his twin brother Cliff substitute for him?

A vaccine should be proper insurance against unexpected infection.  Call Dr. Jake.

"Paul had received a Pfizer vaccine in February, Gambadoro adds."

....that is worded just questionably enough to leave you wondering if "a Pfizer vaccine" is one shot or two.

Isn't LeBron an "I need more information before I decide to get it" person douchebag?

Reports out of Phoenix say that he advocated strongly for the whole Suns organization to get vaccinated back in February. The Suns are allegedly the most vaccinated team in the NBA.

Considering CP3 is one of the NBA's more injury prone, I am not surprised.

The Suns await the winner of the Jazz-Clippers series. If that series ends in six games, the Suns would play on Sunday. If that series goes to Game 7, the Western Conference Finals would start on Tuesday.

it doesn't appear to be all doom and gloom;  Sunday would be Day 5 of his protocol.  So he'd miss probably two games of the WCF.  if Clips/Jazz goes 7, tuesday would day 7 so he may only miss one game.

But was he fully vaccinated, i.e. it being more than two weeks since his final vaccination.

See what I said earlier and what's in the article: Paul got the shots back in February

No idea. A report said he was vaccinated in February.
What a post season. People falling like bowling pins.

they're hinting on the socials that he might be back sooner.  apparently his vax status, if they can confirm via contact tracing he was just exposed but didn't get it - and one source says he did, another says it was mere exposure, i don't know - they're dropping hints he won't be gone the full 10 days.  *shrug*

i was watching Jim Rome Show yesterday and the guy cursed us;  when talking about the Suns, of the Final 8, the guy goes, "the Suns are the only team that hasn't suffered a one game, or two game, or in some cases, series absence from a star player.  Yeah, Chris Paul had the shoulder issue in Game one vs Denver but that seemed to go away.  The Suns' biggest strength is their health."

and then about 6AM today, ESPN radio, "breaking news, Chris Paul is in the COVID protocol. this just came out moments ago...."  and i'm like FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

*deep breath*

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

Bad luck. The vaccine is ~99.5% effective.
