They are arguing that because the Constitution does not allow Congress to change their own pay (they can only pass laws giving the next Congress a pay raise) then it means that Pelosi isn't legally allowed to fine them for refusing to walk through a metal detector.

I'm here thinking they should have hired Bruce Jenner.  Sure, she's not a lawyer, but why should that stop them.

Cuccinelli is listed as one of the attorneys on a lawsuit filed by GOP Reps. Louie Gohmert and Andrew Clyde, who allege a House security screening rule is being selectively applied to Republicans and not Democrats.

That's because dems aren't bringing their toys to work.

Trump's lawyers have repeatedly proven themselves to be suckfest fiascos. On live television. Why would anyone continue to hire them?

Anyone else reading this as, "the morons failed to kill Democrats on 1/6, so we'll just do it ourselves"?

"Republicans hire the Cooch"

That's stupid.

"To defend them bringing gun rights"

That's also stupid.

Pretty much. They're gonna need those guns in the congressional chambers, so they can suppress security and help the insurrectionists next time they break in to murder their political opponents; I doubt most of them have the guts to actually get their own hands bloody.

I'm using that on my next speeding ticket. New twist on the "I pay your salary!" brilliant argument.
