Pop and Miracle Whip: Wake me up when Tom Waits teams up with The Darkness.

I... I would be interested to hear that.

Or Bob Dylan and Franz Ferdinand.

I have no fondness for his music. He did live down the street from the family of an ex-girlfriend. When we took her little sister out trick or treating, he gave out full sized candy bars. Bon Jovi lived in the same neighborhood and was just as generous.

I typed "The Boss" into Google. All of the results were about Melissa McCarthy.

Bruce Springsteen has used his downtime during the coronavirus pandemic to record new collaborations with The Killers and U.S. heartland rock icon John Mellencamp.

Good for Mellencamp.  This would be like Greta Van Fleet working with Robert Plant and Jimmy Page.

I used to hate Bruuuuuuuuuce!!! because of the Bruuuuuuuuce!!! fans that surrounded me during my years in southern Monmouth county. But now, because my shiat is old and nostalgic (it will happen to you!!!), when I sit on a deck on the shore of Manahawkin bay, Bruuuuuuuuce!!! will come on the radio / playlist, and it will take me back to summers in my late teens, going 4 wheeling in the sand pits in Lakehurst or boating on very shiatty boats out on the bay in front of me.

So now, I kind of understand Bruuuuuuuuuce!!!.

I can't find it, but Tom Petty was opening for Bruce, and the crowd was saying Bruuuuce! Someone told Tom they weren't saying "boo" (insert Mr. Burns meme) Tom said, "What's the difference?"

That's what I thought too. I kind of stopped liking them after that.

I heard that same story. I think it was the No Nukes concert in 1979

I try to mention this in in every Bruce thread. If you use Spotify, please listen to "Renegades." It's just Obama and Springsteen chatting. Wonderful stuff.

Kind of makes sense, considering that Sam's Town and Imploding the Mirage both had a vaguely Springsteen-ish feel to the subject matter of the songs.

GVF is a boy band Wolfmother. Wolfmother is a very bad Led Zep throwback from a very dark time in music.
