Doesn't that make the balls more appealing? To the wood, I mean.

And Maddie Baumgardner is still getting pissy about every little celebration by a batter who dares to make contact with his pitches.

Maybe they can look at the new 6 foot wide strike zone too while they are at it.

You mean the new 6 inch wide strike zone?

You mean the new 1.5 foot wide strike zone?

You mean the new 6 foot wide strike zone?

You mean the new 6 inch wide strike zone?

I don't mind too much if a an ump's strike zone is a bit too small or a bit too large, as long as it's consistent.  But usually when it's bad, it's bad because it changes size every other pitch.

/can't wait for the computerized strike zone to get here to eliminate this crap

Wait.  I was assured here on fark that the Astros were the only team in baseball that had ever cheated and that they needed their pennant taken.  Does this mean the Dodgers also need their pennant removed.  And all wins everywhere vacated snice apparently everyone is cheating?

/I am an Astros fan
//Cheating is wrong - there's no defending the trashcan stuff
///Cheating is wrong even when everyone is doing it.  Start tossing pitchers.
