Let me head all the fat chicks off at the pass.

YEAH SHE HAS INFINITE MONEY AND TIME TO HIRE FITNESS TRAINERS AND NUTRITIONISTS SO OF COURSE SHE'S FIT. WHERE IS MY DUNKIN DONUTS DELIVERY?

56 kittens shall be sacrificed in her honor.

Damn. The seconds of disappointment I could provide to her wouldn't even make it 56.

Good genes and the money for nutritionists and personal trainers can do wonderful things for a body.

No, she isn't ugly. That's not the point.

It's more like what IS the point of her doing this every time you turn around?

Every single one of these threads always have the same bullshiat excuses to be fat and lazy.  "ooh money and time and trainers and nutritionists and genetics" when in fact these things have very little to do with outcome. They *help* but are not the *reason*. Discipline, knowledge and execution are the reason.

Looking through her Instagram, she sometimes mentions the brand of bikini, a lot of times she doesn't.

Yes, almost anyone can do this.

If it's really the only thing in your life. But if you're living in the real world with real world responsibilities, it's a lot harder.

That's a defeatist viewpoint. Using myself as the example, because it's the only one I have, I work no less than 10 hours a day usually 6 days a week, starting at 7:30-8 AM. Therefore, I needed to alter my schedule by getting up at the ass-crack of dawn (approx. 5 AM EST) every damn day to work out for an hour or so, which leaves time to deal with other daily responsibilities, along with taking a couple 20 minute walks a day (after lunch and after dinner).

Food prep is also not difficult; that's usually Saturday or Sunday mornings after workout. Chop up some meats and vegetables then vacuum seal them so they last a full week in the fridge, or longer in the freezer.  Anova has a simple and reasonably inexpensive vacuum sealer on Amazon. Vacuum bags are cheap.  Keep some fruit on hand for a quick snack; bananas and green apples are great for this. Cut out the unnecessary garbage shiat like donuts, sweets, alcohol and so on. Sous vide has been a HUGE time saver.

Literally anyone without major physical limitations (amputees, bedridden and the like) and/or sicknesses can do the same. It's about what one is willing to do to make their life better, longer and healthier.

But as I said, it involves sacrificing your life. No fast foods, no snacks or anything unhealthy, no booze, constant diet, crack of dawn for daily exercise.

No. Not everyone has that discipline. And no, people don't change to suddenly want to live that way. That's something you either have or you don't.

It's her job. She has to stay relevant in order to get endorsement deals, acting roles, etc. It's the same reason Arnold comments on random twitter work-out videos. Just trying to stay relevant.

Apart from getting a minimum of exercise and having a moderately healthy diet, everything else seems to have a prohibitively low ROI.

I've checked the actuarial tables on this stuff - once you go beyond the bare minimum you're wasting a lot more of your life trying to stay healthy than you'll get back in healthy years of extra lifespan.  If you can find health-improving activities that you enjoy, great, but if you're burning hours of your day trying to stay fit ultimately you're doing it to get minutes back when you're dying of old age.

Don't be fat, don't do drugs, move around once in a while.  That's the minimum effort.

Yes that is the *minimum* if ones only worry is how many years one has. Quality of live improves with more than the bare minimum of fitness.

As I said, if you enjoy the activities that get you fit, awesome.  I'm a computer geek, I am not at all interested in athletics of any sort.  I - somewhat reluctantly - go for walks with my spouse to stay at a bare minimum fitness level.

My personally perceived quality of life would drop if I made time for and put effort into exercise.
