I understand how much commercial money is at stake, but I feel this Olympics could have been like some kind off All Star Game farce, and then move on.

Japan had shelled out all those bribes to Olympic officials and they weren't getting that money back, so...

GAME ON !

NBCUniversal said Monday that it will present an unprecedented 7,000 hours of coverage of the Tokyo Olympics this summer on two broadcast networks, six cable networks and multiple digital platforms

So, 6,998 hours of "human interest stories" and commercials, and 2 hours of actual Olympic sports broadcasts. Got it.

They're doubling the sports coverage this year? That's a good step.
