They will just use those fancy e-cigs they got shipped from China.

I've had this crackpot theory that a lot of gun violence in schools in the US is at least partially due to the fact we took alcohol and tobacco away from the unpopular-loser kids so that they couldn't self-medicate away their various problems and/or flunk out early because of it (as they had been able to do for centuries beforehand).

The clever or popular ones could always get their hands on all the mind-altering drugs both before and after 80s prohibition, but the unpopular ones suddenly found themselves with few other options than mega doses of caffeine and unpopular-loser forums online.

Just sayin'.

I want to say that you have a point, but I don't think alcohol use in teens has gone down that much.

No you're either saying or you're not.

Don't throw that horseshiat at the end of a bad take to distance yourself from consequences, like you're doing a favor by being the one to take it on the chin and mention something no one else wants to.

It's cowardly. Just sayin'.

They did that in Los Angeles a few years back. Granted, smoking and vaping rates were already declining, but after that change I very rarely see anyone under 50 using either on the street. Stiiizy pens are far more common.

What consequences?  I already said it's a crackpot theory, which implies I readily acknowledge it's ridiculous and even if it were true it would be incredibly difficult to prove.  Do I need to bold it for emphasis?  Or link to urban dictionary's entry of "crackpot theory?"

Also the "Just sayin'" is more tying it back to the subject at hand, which is arbitrarily raising the age of purchasing nicotine, so that the crackpot theory doesn't seem to come completely out of nowhere and have no anchor.

And so what if it were cowardly?  The internet ostensibly needs more meek cowards and way fewer keyboard warriors absolutely convinced of their rightness in all things.
