That probably the purest implementation of capitalism that has existed since the US gilded age exists inside of an, ostensibly, authoritarian communist state is one of the greatest contradictions of all time.

It's been at least 20 years since China even pretended they were communist. They're even more capitalist than the US is. Probably the only more capitalist nation than China is Somalia at this point.
