It's a good story but not actually surprising.  Don't know that folks really think about Bo in terms of body control because they get so wrapped up in the power, but dude was extremely agile prior to the hip injury.

More impressed that the he jumped so high the board, and his feet, dipped into the pool. Bo is the best.

He should have kept to baseball.

Dude's gonna end up like Davy Crockett.  Real dude but with amazing tall tales about him in 100 years.

He was a great baseball player at Auburn and IIRC held some of their batting records.   But the year he left was the year Frank Thomas arrived and those records are long gone now.

Loved watching him in KC.

Are you saying he didn't beat Mike Tyson in the ring and immediately turn around and dunk on Jordan and Shaq at the same time?

I bet when that coach saw that dive, in his head he said "Is he eligible?"

Bo Jackson beat both Dan and Dave.

I still remember his throw from the warning track in center field to home. One bounce and it made it to the catcher on time for the tag.

Between Bo and Jordan both saying something similar, I fully believe this statement. "Hitting a professionally thrown baseball is the hardest thing to do in any sport."

Ha. When Bo did that 'run up and down the outfield wall' thing, my first thought was, 'that guy's a diver.'

So, was I the only one who thought this was going to be about soccer?

He was a star at Alabama's McAdory High School -- hitting a mythical 20 homers in 25 games one year
