Somehow that Kamala Harris "do not come" autoplay video is actually relevant to the article about people who don't want tourists in South Beach

Kamala Harris "do not come" autoplay videos are what liberals will move on to when Jen Psaki dominatrix shaming no longer works.

I remember when the Clevelander was a mom and pop shabby hotel where Jewish grammas and grampas went in the winter.

Times have sure changed. Not for the better.

When I was in my 20's, I was annoyed that last call was 1:30 and all the drinks had to be off the floor by 2.

When I hit 30, I understood why that is.

Now that I'm 40, I'm wondering if we can bring that in a tad.  Maybe 10:30ish?

Old senile people with dementia? Basically the average floridian?

We have yet to hear from the guests at the Hotel Coral Essex.

But seriously, the bar owners have as much empathy about the negatives if their desires, as did the Mayor of Amity during shark season.

This might be one of THE most racist things I've seen in the last 18 months, and those have been some very race baiting months. Everyone was fine with the party scene in South Beach until spring break when 'those' people showed up, and now after 40 years of coke and alcohol fueled partying it's suddenly a problem? Get bent racist old farts.

Now that I'm 57, I'm wondering if I have to push you out of the way to get my next drink, lad. By the way, that girl (or possibly gorilla) over there is interested in you. Shove off and try not to piss in her boots. She's efficient with a riding crop. I can wield one too but, she's an expert.

Daytona did this in the late 90s early 00s. Hassled the speing break kids out in droves and wondered why the economy got worse.

When my wife asks why my search history includes an image search for "sexy gorilla in a club outfit with a riding crop" I'm going to blame you.

Even though I did it weeks ago.

"Our residents should not be held prisoner to a business model that promotes the all-night hard partying that has generated an unsafe atmosphere in our city"

Then your residents should ask themselves WHY THE F*CK DID THEY MOVE THERE?!?

That's like living in Las Vegas and wondering howcome the lights are on all the time!

I wonder if its the same as it is here in New Orleans.

There's a hip neighborhood called the Marigny, which has wall to wall bars, restaurants and music clubs.  It's also residential, which means you get a lot of young, often gay, couples with money moving there for the thrill of living stumbling distance from all that nightlife.

What happens is these couples age, and start wanting a little more peace and quiet.  The straight couples generally move on before then to buy places in the burbs with yards so they can have kids.  But the childless gay couples often stay put, and demand those damned kids (like they were 15 years ago) pipe down for Christ's sake, some people are trying to get some god damned sleep.  *shakes cane*

If you wonder off the strip too far... there are no streetlights & it looks like something from The Crow.

Gee, I guess Grandma and Grandpa can pay property taxes instead of leaving the local governments reliant upon tourist generated funds.

Move.

You knew this was what you were getting when you moved in, we all did it in our early 20s - move in across from the bar.

It's fun, it's great, then your job needs you pulling all nighters, hangovers don't shrug off like they used to, and come 28 or so you move.

Ta-da.

To any city that supports a "business model that promotes the all-night hard partying" and to any people who enjoy said partying I offer a hearty FARK YOU. I despise your very existence. I always have and I always will.
