Once again one of my favorite vacation places getting bad press because of a out-of-towner from the other side of the bridge.

I seen this story on Facebook and many people are saying stuff like this is why they don't go to OC anymore. It has become too dangerous and it is only bound to get worse.

There was a great debate on there about the image of OC:

"Ocean city isn't the problem, it's the model citizens that sometimes decide to visit there.."

"The generation that got a trophy just for showing up. It's not OC it the entitled brats with weapons who don't know how to act and whose parents didn't raise them correctly."

"They were not locals. Lol. Take that trash back over the bridge." "AMEN. KEEP THE IDIOTS OUT IF OUR BEAUTIFUL TOWN!!! "

"Already crossed OC off the list of places to visit this summer. They need to get it under control before their economy goes any further in the red."

This and more, but you don't hear about these things in Virginia Beach or Myrtle Beach, supposedly dangerous places. You never hear these things on the Jersey Shore or Delaware, at least from what I see and hear.

The point is, whether it be stricter laws, curfews, more law enforcement, OC needs to get better as this makes me want to cry over how far they have fallen. They need to make this a family-friendly location again.

Hopefully he was quoted as saying "You gonna die, clown!", otherwise he really wasted an opportunity.

Well he wont get invited to the Masters of Mini Golf now.

Hopefully it wasn't the old pro mini golf up there with the pirate ship or castle, gonna take my niece there this summer.

Grew up around OCMD and the Delaware beaches, and now live near VA beach.  We have this annual Thunderdome called "College Beach Week" where the shootings really ramp up.  My advice is if you enjoy a proper boardwalk (food, shops, entertainment), a great variety of amusement rides, many mini-golf options,... don't come here.  If you hate all of the above, and can't stand buying booze conveniently, visit Myrtle Beach.

I'm disappointed the stabbing wasn't done with those tiny pencils.

I'm surprised this doesn't happen all the time. Ever played miniature golf with a group of people? It's infuriating.

IT'S YOUR TURN! GO ALREADY!

My parents camp in nearby Crisfield every year, and walking on the OC boardwalk is part of it for a day usually. That is only done in the daytime as a boys weekend out a few years ago was a hotel on the boardwalk and it was loud and lots of police due to incidents. People that are loyal to OC usually stay north of the boardwalk or have property just outside of town, like my friend has and I was lucky enough to stay there a few times. But they go to the beach at Assateague.

My folks retired up at the DE beaches and they said people are out in full ahole mode this year already, must be from being pent up a year and they had to release the beast. They usually stay in for the times when the aholes are out in force like bike week or corvette weekend. I do love going up there for greyhound rescue week though, big goofy dogs running all over the beach.
