Each contestant is allowed to bring something with them to help.
- contestant #1 what did you bring? "A pot for boiling water".
- contestant #2 what did you bring? "A fishing net".
- contestant #3 what did you bring? "Pants".

Never wasted my time watching any of these scripted "reality" shows.
Feel free if you like this stuff, but I wouldn't waste my time.

Watch Alone instead. They get to bring a very large pack with them along with the clothes on their backs. Makes way more sense. The time wasted fashioning pre-stone age tools on Naked and Afraid is nonsense. None of them have the skill or ability anyway.
