Second, for me. Not sure if it was an actual effect, or psychosomatic.

The nurse told me I'd be sleepy in so many hours, I did the math. Then I had too much fun in that town and drove home at the exact time I was supposed to pass out.

This article is not about me, I was fine. No side effects.

Yeah, I couldn't decide if it was adrenaline or the shot itself but I felt weird.

My wife and I staggered our shots so that we would have someone to drive home.

These are the old Trump vaccines. Biden's Covid vax will be cleaner and safer.

Same.  I pulled over and snarfed pizza with the wife.  Legit stoned.  Second shot, nothing.

I was told both times to wait around for 15 minutes to make sure nothing happened.

Same here.  And as it turned out, I didn't feel any fatigue until several hours after either shot.

Good plan.  We did ours ~5 hours apart; I did all the driving.  But then we were both useless the next day since shot #2 kicked our butts.

Yeah, this.  And for pretty much this exact reason.  When I was a teen, I frequently failed saving throws against blacking out after shots, so I totally understand the logic of this.  But I suppose it's possible that one person out of the few million Massachusetts has vaccinated so far would be fine for 15 and then black out at the 25-minute mark.

All I got was a sore arm.

Weird, I felt nothing other than a sore arm from the 1st shot. The 2nd was much worse, but I didn't feel any effects until 5 hours later, when I suddenly felt extremely tired unexpectedly. Then the real fun began, ~36 hours of feverish quasi-delirium followed by a rapid return to relative normalcy.

But I certainly didn't feel any strange effects that could have adversely affected my driving on the way home on either occasion.

I fainted after the seconds shot. Unfortunately, I hit a table corner, hard, on the way down. Woke up on a blood-soaked carpet. Big lump, later, a bigger scab. Waiting the fifteen minutes gave me just enough time to drive  home before collapsing. Never happened with any other vaccine, including the first Covid.

Then you had the irresistable urge for tequila, cocaine, dance and wild women right?

or was that just me...

Second shot made me really tired, but not until later that day and next.

Sounds more like feinting followed by being tired from getting hit in the head.  I can't think of any mechanism that would make the vaccine itself kick in that fast.

This. They had a waiting area and watched us. They checked our time on the way out. You could just leave and tell them to fark off but everyone waited. I had some chills on the second day but that was all.

Shot 1:  sleepy about bedtime.  Worked for me.

Shot 2:  Misery the next day while I worked my physically demanding job.

The person who wrecked could have had the sleepy effect very quickly.   It's plausible.

They can tell you to wait until the cows come home, but they can't stop you if you want to say MUH FREEDUM! And it's not like cops are going to hang out just to watch people get their jabs, or respond to a report that maybe someone might have a 1 in 1000 chance that they'll be inattentive on the road in a few minutes.

My first jab everyone seemed very patient, but for my second one I witnessed the truck in front of me and the car behind me both roar off literally as soon as the jab was administered and the paperwork stamped.

People have been reporting fainting or losing consciousness after getting vaccinated (either after first or second shot) here -> https://www.reddit.com/r/CovidVaccinated/new/

Normally it's a "vasovagal syncope" where you faint because you get "triggered" too much. This usually happens right before or right after vaccination though. What happened to the driver was definitely much later after he got vaccinated, so he's one of the unfortunate people who really had a horrible side effect due to the vaccine. He probably should not get the second dose if that was just his first one.

I've just now driven home from my first covid shot, so can relate.  Felt a bit hyper but that might just be because of the anticipation of getting it (and I had the dreaded AstraZeneca!)

Not only do the GPS track you but now the gubberment is using those chips for mind control for assassination purposes.

Actually besides a sore arm both times I had no side effects.

And yet our government gave the big pharma companies immunity from any liability claims
for an untested vaccine for a virus with a 98% survival rate.  :)
